Despite the very obvious Stranger Things reference, no, this is not the Upside Down room where everything is made out of flesh and the sky is red. I don’t think the Wizarding World will have trouble with that if it happens anyway.
Instead, the Upside Down room is what you would think it is if you didn’t watch Stranger Things: a room where everything is upside down. Curious, right?
Well, this puzzle isn’t going to solve itself. Here’s a guide on how you can do just that.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Solve the Upside Down Room Puzzle
In the Upside Down room, everything is pretty much upside down.
To solve this, you will first need to get this lamp that is across this platform. Use the Accio spell to pull it towards you, then lift it with the Wingardium Leviosa spell.
Bring it with you to the door on the left.
The Wingardium Leviosa spell can be a bit tricky to control, but you will need to maneuver around until you can place the lamp on this statue of a hand.
The room will then turn right side up. However, this removes the way you came in before, so you will need to find a new way down.
On the left, there should be a window that you can climb up to and jump out of. You won’t take too much fall damage, so it will be safe.
After landing back in the room, you will need to go back up the stairs again and this time, it will take you to a new room.
In the new room, there is another statue of a hand and another lamp.
Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to move the lamp towards the hand, which will once again shift the room next to you until it’s upside down again.
Once you are in the next room, you will then have to use Accio to pull the lantern into the room with you, which will then shift the room to rotate once more.
Bring the lantern to the hand statue in the room and a door will unlock, letting you continue forward.
There will be another lantern in the new room with you. Use Wingardium Leviosa to carry the lantern with you.
Carry the lantern to the second hand statue and place it there. The door will then open, which completes the Upside Down room puzzle.
Huge thanks to ZaFrostPet for the information on how to complete the Upside Down room puzzle.
