Metroid Prime is the newest game that’s gotten the remastered treatment and Metroid fans are rejoicing because of it! Finally, we don’t need to dust off our Gamecubes to play the game, we can now play a modern version of it on the Nintendo Switch!
The game features updated graphics while still staying true to the original game in terms of gameplay. Aside from the quality of life changes here and there this Remaster is still faithful to the original.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the X-Ray Visor in the game!
How To Get The X-Ray Visor | X-Ray Visor Location In Metroid Prime Remastered
When going through the many places and locations in Metroid Prime you may find some upgrades for your character.
These upgrades can help you not only in fights but also in exploring since almost all of them can let you reach previously impossible places to reach.
That’s why it’s a great idea to find these upgrades so that you can explore more of the map, this is where you find the X-Ray Visor in the game.
The X-Ray Visor can be found in the Great Tree Hall area on the Tallon Overworld map.
There you’ll need to go up around the tree until you find the spider ball track shown below.
From there you’ll need to go to your Spider ball form and follow the track upwards!
At the point shown below you can drop down and follow the cave there, you’ll find a blueish rock that you can destroy.
Going through will send you to a “2D” mini level and on the other side is a room where you can finally get the X-Ray Visor upgrade!
Congratulations you now know where to find this item in the new Metroid Prime remaster, now go out there and get it yourself!
