Metroid Prime Remastered – How To Get The Wavebuster | Wavebuster Location

Get on top of that tower!

They don’t make video games as they used to, that’s why developers are remastering old games so that old fans and new players can enjoy these classics! Metroid Prime has been remastered and now you can play it on your Switch instead of using that dusty old Gamecube!

The game doesn’t deviate from the original though and only adds a graphical overhaul as well as some quality-of-life changes for old and new players to enjoy.

The game can be a bit confusing for new players though so in this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Wavebuster in the game!

How To Get The Wavebuster | Wavebuster Location In Metroid Prime Remastered

There are a lot of different and cool upgrades you can find in Metroid Prime, almost all of them can be used to traverse different areas of the game.

Yep, that’s right, it’s not only for combat but some of these upgrades can be for exploration as well, like the Super Missile that we’ll be using to get the Wavebuster upgrade right here!

The Wavebuster can be found in the Tower of Light area on the Chozo Ruins map.

There you’ll find a tall area that you’ll need to use platforms to get on top of, you might notice though that some of the platforms are too tall to reach!

To get on top of this tower we’ll need to lower the tower, to do that you’ll need to use a Super Missile to break the cracked pillars around the tower, there are 4 pillars to crack at the start.

Once they’re all hit then a cutscene will play and the tower will get lower!

Now you’ll need to go up the platform and do it again two times, the next ones will have enemies that block the pillars so make sure to not hit them!

Also, remember to not leave the tower because if you do the tower will reset!
