Finding new weapons in video games can be fun depending on the video game. If it’s an RPG then that sword that does 0.002 more damage to the undead on the 13th day of each month ain’t that exciting, in old games though each new weapon was a whole event!
Metroid Prime has recently been remastered and because of that it has modern graphics and a lot of quality-of-life improvements but still retains the original feel of the game. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the flamethrower in the game, for those who don’t know how to get it!
How To Get The Flamethrower (Location) – Metroid Prime Remastered
There are a lot of different weapons and upgrades you can find in Metroid Prime, and most of them can be used to help you explore the rest of the game. That’s how progression is set and often these upgrades or weapons give you a chance to access places you couldn’t access before.
So it’s great to know where to find these throughout the levels. This is where you can find the Flamethrower in the game.
The Flamethrower can be found in the Mine Security Station on the Phazon Mines map.
This map has a total of 3 levels: the Surface level, Sub-level 1, and Sub-level 2, the Mine Security Station is at the Surface Level.
In that area, you’ll find a fenced-off section that you can destroy using your ball form and doing a powerbomb. This will destroy the fence and you can scan the terminal there.
Now all you need to do is go to the lower section of that area where you’ll find the entrance to another room that’s now unlocked.
There you can find the Flamethrower, now you’ve got yourself a new weapon to play around with!
