How To Build A Fire in Sons Of The Forest

After almost a decade of waiting, the sequel to the original The Forest game is finally out. If you’re looking to survive the dangers of Sons of the Forest, a fire is going to be an absolute necessity.

Whether you’re freezing and need to warm up, or you’re being chased by cannibals and want to scare them off, whipping up a quick campfire is a great start. This guide will walk you through the quick and easy process of making a simple fire, and all you need are a couple of sticks!

Sons Of The Forest – How To Build A Fire

The first (and only) item you’re going to need are sticks, 2 of them, to be precise.

Take out the Axe that should be in your backpack (inventory), and chop up some smaller trees. Each tree should get you at least a pair of sticks so you don’t need a lot, but it can’t hurt to stock up.

It’s quick and easy, as promised.

Once you have 2 sticks, equip one from the inventory. With a stick in hand, you just need to click a few times and the character will break the stick over his knee and throw it on the ground.

Repeat this action with another stick, and you’re almost done! The last thing you have to do is take out your lighter, light up the sticks, and voilà – you’re warm!
