A new Season is starting in Destiny 2 along with the release of the Lightfall expansion. With that said, there are a lot of things people should do before doing anything.
But for now, we will be focusing on one important action every player must do when starting a new Season in Destiny 2: unlocking the Seasonal Artifact. This is important in order to properly start the Season. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock the Seasonal Artifact.
How To Unlock The Seasonal Artifact For Season 20 – Destiny 2
Go to Neomuna and Talk to Nimbus
In order to unlock the Seasonal Artifact, you will need to go to the new planet, Neptune, and go to Strider’s Gate.
From there, you will need to find the new NPC named Nimbus.
Speak to Nimbus and you will be given a wall of text (as usual), as well as acquiring the Seasonal Artifact, Ascendant Scepter, at the bottom.
Doing this will immediately begin the questline for the Season of Defiance campaign. It’s recommended to do this alongside the Lightfall campaign for faster progression.
