Destiny 2 is known for many things, one of these things would be the game’s reputation for keeping you in one area for too long due to the mind-melting puzzles they throw at you. For the veterans these would take only a few minutes, it’s a different story for new players though but that’s okay!
Puzzles have multiple combinations so you should expect them to be confusing. Besides, it’s no fun if the problem is too easy to solve, but if you’ve been struggling with the pattern sequences in Neomuna then stick around and we’ll see what we can do for you!
Harpies Pattern Sequence Puzzle Guide – Destiny 2
The pattern sequence is something you’ll briefly go through during the Headlong mission.
You can find the place that leads to there over at the Liming Harbor in Neomuna, head for the Thrilladrome Lost Sector and you will find an entrance sealed off by a Vex Barrier.
When you get there you’ll be fighting your good Goblin friends along with a Vex Minotaur. Defeat those and shortly, a group of four harpies will show up.
Before you continue your rampage and wonder why you aren’t getting through, look at the gate behind them instead.
There are three crystals and not all of them are glowing, this is the same deal for the harpies as some of them aren’t glowing as well.
The gate is showing you which harpies need to go in a specific order, you’ll have to start from the left and make your way to the last harpy correctly.
The order might differ for each player but if the gate tells you to kill a glowing one first then you should do just that and then just follow what else you can see on the gate!
Don’t go too crazy though, the crystals enjoy taking their time before letting you know if you did it right or not. When you finish the puzzle correctly the barrier will simply disappear, giving you access to the Thrilladrome. You’ll be coming back here later for the Vex Compass so be mindful of that!
