Arcane Odyssey has a lot of features that can entice players to play the game. One of them being their main selling point: magic. Of course, magic can only do so much before it gets boring. That’s why in the game, you can pilot ships to take you all over the world of Arcane Odyssey.
However, so can other people, and you will no doubt encounter hostile forces. That’s why you need to get Hull Armor to keep your ship strong. In this guide, we will show you how to get Hull Armor.
Arcane Odyssey – How To Get Hull Armor
In order to get Hull Armor, you first need to secure a ship with cannons on it. Rowboats don’t exactly have the space to have Hull Armor installed and are in general just a waste of time.
Once you have your boat with cannons, go around the ocean until you find a Pirate or Assassin boat (Grand Navy Boats also work, but only if you’re a villain).
When you do find one, use your cannons to sink the boat. If you have ram, that’s good. Use that as well. Basically, you need to use anything you have on your ship to whittle it down until you can board it.
Take note that you actually have to attack the ship until it stops and you can board it. Preemptively boarding the ship and killing everyone aboard won’t get you the drops.
Once the ship is sinking and the enemies are dead, you can then get the drops and put them on your boat. With the loot on your ship, head to the nearest Shipwright. Once you’re on an island with a Shipwright, pick the chests up and head to the Shipwright. They will unlock your chests and give you the rewards inside.
Inside the chests, a blueprint will always come out as one of the rewards. One of those can be the Hull Armor.
With the blueprint in hand, go to any Builder (there should be one on every island), and talk to them about crafting the Hull Armor. Depending on the Hull Armor, it will vary in gold. But they’re all generally expensive.
So basically, you will need to attack a ton of ships until you get a chest that contains a blueprint for Hull Armor. It will take a while, but having extra protection against enemy ships is always worth it.
