Genshin Impact just brought back the beloved Windtrace Event! Playing this event will give you Primogems and rewards. But how exactly do you participate in this event? This guide will teach you how you can dominate the Windtrace event.
Windtrace Guide — Genshin Impact
Before you start joining the event, you should first know that players will be split into the Rebels and the Hunter groups.
As a rebel, you need to avoid the Hunter until the time is up. On the other hand, the hunter should capture all the rebels before the time expires.
If you are a rebel, you can transform into an item on the map to avoid Hunter’s gaze. You can also place baits and stay hidden for a set amount of time. On the other hand, the hunter can detect the location of the rebels, helping them find the rebels in disguise.
Once you are ready, go to Mondstadt and talk to Gygax. Start matchmaking with other players to earn Windtrace coins.
NOTE: Keep in mind that playing the Windtrace event in co-op mode will prevent you from earning any coins.
Once you have enough players, a Windtrace event notification will pop up and you have to accept the notification to start the event.
If you are a hunter, you will get obscured vision and reduced stamina in the event. During the preparation phase, you can change into any object as a Rebel. Use your Windward Art skills to gain an advantage in the event.
Completing the event and earning coins will give you a total of 420 Primogems!
