Above Snakes – How To Get Ink

Sometimes when you play a crafting game, they give you a few crafting recipes at the start. Then as you unlock more crafting recipes from crafting tables or from actual blueprints and recipes the game opens up. The more you play the game the more crafting recipes you learn, and the more you learn the more confusing it can get for some people.

You start wondering where that one crafting recipe is, do you need a certain table for it or do you just make it on your own? Above Snakes is a sandbox survival crafting game that has a lot of recipes, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to get ink!

How To Get Ink In Above Snakes

There’s a lot of different crafting recipes in Above Snakes and some of them you can learn from different crafting tables. One of the many crafting tables you can make is the cartography table, although to start doing some cartography you of course want to make ink. The problem is you can’t make ink on that table, so what gives?

Here are the steps that you’ll need to follow:

1. Make a workbench;
2. Go to the crafting menu and search it under “Workbench – Tier 1.”
3. There you can find the Ink recipe and it’ll need 1 Feather and 4 Huckleberry.

You’d expect the Ink to be in the Cartography table recipe but actually it’s not! So where do you get these materials?

The 1 feather you can find when searching Pine Trees, there’s a chance of them being found when you do so. For the Huckleberry you’ll need to progress the story till you can place a Plain World Piece, then forage the Huckleberries from the bushes there.
