There are always new things to find in Dredge, the only thing that’s surprising this time is the fact that you won’t run the risk of dying as much since you’ll be spending most of your time reading while on land.
But what do the singular glyphs on the tablets mean? Are these left by the hooded figures you’ve been talking to nearby? And why do some of the glyphs resemble the ones from the English Phonetic alphabet?
Some questions will just never be answered, if you’re still having a tough time finding them while being hunted then reading this guide will give you the locations of the tablets at least!
Stone Tablets Guide | Dredge
You’ll find the very first one mostly by accident if you enjoy exploring, if not then head over to the ruins near Devil’s Spine to get the first one.
Three more can be found later, for now, head back to the Trader in Little Marrow to get more information.
Talk to the Trader and he’ll show you a similar-looking tablet that’s within his possession, you’ll be able to bring this up again once you find the other two that are also near Devil’s Spine.
Don’t forget to bring some Packed Explosives first before heading out.
The local denizens aren’t too fond of strangers so it’s only natural for you to let them know that the feeling’s mutual.
Your first dredging spot will be at P13, you can either go around the debris or solve the problem in a more practical way with the explosives you just bought.
Head inwards and look for the disturbed waters in the corner of the room to get the next tablet.
The next spot is at the upper right corner of N14, sailing northwest from your last position while ignoring the funny noises the fish are making.
This one will be blocked by debris again so without any regard for your own safety do yourself a favor and blow it up to access the area.
Take all of the pieces back to the trader and he’ll tell you that the entire set can open a lock somewhere. That place would be the Ancient Lighthouse in between N and 015, just north of the Ancient Temple.
Park at the bottom and go through the dialogue to get yourself some rewards that include two goblets, two rings, and the Flame of the Sky.
You can sell these trinkets to the trader for a cool $200, that’s enough money to pay for one week’s worth of rent!
The real star of the show here is the Flame of the Sky as it increases the visibility around you up to 3500m!
Now go try the quest for yourself. You have places that need to be looted!
