Hakuna matata, it means no worries! This is what you should be doing because Disney Dreamlight Valley has just released a new update that includes content from Lion King, a classic Disney movie that everyone born in the 90s will know.
In this update, you get to have Simba and Nala join Dreamlight Valley and make themselves at home. Just make sure that you don’t make Simba and Scar neighbors. That would be very, very awkward.
In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Eyes in the Dark quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – Eyes In The Dark Quest Guide
Help Out Nala
This guide focuses on completing the Eyes in the Dark quest. If you need to actually find Simba and Nala, we have a separate guide that helps you find where you can get Simba and Nala.
Moving on, when starting the quest, your first objective is to help out Nala. She needs your help to make a blockade so the hyenas won’t catch her.
First, you will need to dig for Thorn Bush Seeds. You will have to dig pretty much everywhere. You will most likely get one Thorn Bush Seed every time you dig, along with some dirt that you don’t need.
Once you have 5 Thorn Bush Seeds, plant them in the holes near the ledge in the dried-out oasis.
Once planted, you will then need to water them until they grow.
Once you have successfully created a blockade for the hyenas, you will then have to venture into the cave. Use your shovel to dig the dead trees that are in the way.
After that, it’s just a straight shot of the jungle.
Lovers Reunited
You will soon enter the jungle, where Simba is. However, there is no way to get to where Simba is. Talk to Nala first and she will ask for your help once again to make her way to Simba.
To do this, you will need to bring the log down. The log is currently being held up by rocks. Go to this area and use your pickaxe to break this rock apart. This will then cause the log to lower down and create a path to Simba.
Go up the log and you should be able to see Simba. Talk to him, then after the conversation ends, Simba will run straight to Nala.
Follow him and watch as the two reunite.
Dinner Time
Now that the two have reunited, it’s time for some chow. Your next objective is to collect 6 Colorful Bugs in the dried-out oasis, and 3 Slimy Bugs from the river.
You will have to fish the 3 Slimy Bugs from the river, and you will have to dig in the dried-out oasis for all 6 Colorful Bugs.
Once done, head back to Simba and he will ask you to get some Red Bugs.
The Red Bugs can be found deeper into the forest, but they are hidden under a tree stump. Use your shovel to dig out the tree stump, and the Red Bugs will roam around the area.
You will need to catch 6 Red Bugs in order to make a new dish.
Once you have caught all of the bugs, head to the nearest cauldron and cook up a Bug Platter.
Bring the Bug Platter to Nala and she will chow down.
Scare Some Hyenas Away
Now that the Simba and Nala have had a good dinner, it’s time to deal with the hyenas. You will have to leave the Lion King world and head to Scrooge McDuck. You will have a conversation with him about the best way to get rid of the pesky hyenas.
He then tells you that you can use his Sound System in order to amplify Simba and Nala’s roars to scare them away.
Bring the Sound System back to Simba and Nala and the two will roar as loud as they can in order to scare away the hyenas.
Now that the hyenas are gone, Nala can come to Dremalight Valley and live there.
Find a good place to construct Pride Rock so you can welcome Nala to Dreamlight Valley. You will need 10,000 Dreamlight in order to do this, so you need to be well prepared.
This will then complete the Eyes in the Dark quest.
