New DLC means new content. The size of that content differs per game. Some games like Resident Evil 7 can have short DLC content that don’t take up too much of your time and is just good fun. Other games like the Witcher 3 go above and beyond and make a whole new game and call it DLC (see Blood and Wine and you will understand why).
Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores DLC falls somewhere in the middle, providing new side quests and challenges that offer hours of additional gameplay without feeling overwhelming. In this article, we’ll be discussing all of the side quest locations in Burning Shores to help players get the most out of this DLC content.
All Side Quest Locations – Horizon Forbidden West
A Friend in the Dark
The first side quest we will talk about is the A Friend in the Dark side quest. This side quest requires you to complete a Relic Ruin in order to start it.
During the Relic Ruin, you will need to find an Auxiliary Key Module in order to open this door, which has someone trapped on the other side. Doing this will automatically start the quest.
The Splinter Within
The next side quest requires you to complete all of the story quests. Once you have, The Splinter Within side quest will pop up on the map.
To start it, talk to Theoa and you will begin the side quest.
In His Wake
The next side quest also requires you to complete all of the story quests for the DLC. Once you do, the In His Wake quest will pop up on the map.
To start it, you will need to talk to an NPC named Otosu.
Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores offers players more content to enjoy, including three new side quests. These quests add depth to the game’s story and provide players with new challenges to overcome. Each quest has its own unique storyline and objectives, making them worth playing through.
