Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - Republic Research Laboratory: Orb Puzzle Guide

The new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game is out and even though the PC port is bit bad, the game itself is still great. While going through the story of the game you’ll encounter a lot of different areas and in those areas, there’s sometimes puzzles you need to do. These puzzles are often needed to be done to continue through the path like the one in the Republic Research Laboratory.

In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the Orb Puzzles in the Republic Research Laboratory in the game. Now let’s see what this puzzle is all about.

Republic Research Laboratory: Orb Puzzle Guide

At one point in the game, you’ll enter the High Republic Research Facility. The facility has a couple of puzzles that you need to do to progress. One of the puzzles requires you to handle some orbs, like the one shown below.

When you get there, you’ll find a place on where you can place these orbs, the thing is the orb where it spawns is in another room.

Here are the steps to progress:

Get Orb past Obstacles;
Place Orb in Orb Coupler;
Use BD-1 to connect Beam to Obstacles;
Continue through the Facility!

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Republic Research Laboratory

First off you’ll need to get the orb, you can do so through the glass with the force. You’ll then need to launch the orb to the back, right at the slanted platform.

Now run to the right and grab the orb before it falls, then launch it to the other platform shown below.

The moment you launch the ball to the second platform, start running going to the right where there’s a doorway.

Once through the doorway run forward until you see the platform below, grab the orb before it falls.

If you fail at any point and the ball drops down, you can grab another one and start from the beginning.

Once you have the ball in your possession, go back through the doorway you went and throw the orb to the Orb Coupler shown below.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Orb Puzzle Conclusion

When you place the orb to the coupler it’ll fire a beam that will destroy the obstacle shown below.

You can then follow the beam until it hits the wall. Using BD-1, use the gadget found in the Stone Spires and spray a path to the other obstacle. This will ‘connect’ the beam to the obstacle and destroy it, letting you go through!
