As a Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom player, you know that climbing is an essential skill in the game. It allows you to climb over walls and reach places that might be out of reach. One of the items that increases your climbing ability in the game is the Climbing Hat. This item will help you climb faster and safer, making it extremely convenient when you need to explore high areas. In this guide, we will provide you with the exact location of the Climbing Hat.

How to Get the Climbing Hat

In order to obtain the Climbing Hat, go to the location down below. After you get there, go deep into the cave and you will be able to get your Climbing Hat.

Other Items – The Climbing Gear

To help you further increase your climbing ability, here’s another item location. Located South West to Hyrule Castle Moat, you can find the North Hyrule Plain Cave in Hyrule Field. As you explore this cave, you will be able to find Climbing Gear, another piece of armor which will greatly enhance your climbing capabilities in the game.

This is how the cave looks from the outside, enter it to start finding the crate that contains the item.

Once you get it, you will find some monsters lurking on the roof of the cave. In order to make them fall down to the ground, use your bow and hit them for them to fall down. Then, use any melee weapons or high-damage dealing weapons you have to eliminate these foes.

After that, keep going deeper into the caves, you will see a small crate you cannot interact with. This is not the crate you want to open, however, you want to climb to the top right side of your character.

Keep climbing until you get on top of the waterfall and you will be able to keep moving forward.

Next, go on that high land slope to the left of your character, keep heading forward until you face your next obstacle. Stay tuned because we will provide you with tips on how you can go through.

As you move forward, you will be able to see a red, scary creature running towards you. You will need to stay calm and open up your inventory, get your bow and shoot it down

Once it falls down, use your high-damage dealing melee weapons to fully defeat it.

Next, keep following the path that leads you to your right. Then keep heading forward and go up that slope which will lead you to the crate containing the item.

When you’ve arrived at the place, you will see a building that looks like a temple. This construct has a crate sitting in the middle of it.

Open up the crate and you will be able to obtain your Climbing Gear. This will give you 3 defense/armor points and provide you with a climbing speed increase.
