The Nachoyah Shrine in Tears of The Kingdom offers many different puzzles for you to solve. You will get to “go back in time” by utilizing the Recall ability to progress further into the Shrine. How to Solve the Nachoyah Shrine Puzzle
- Go into the Nachoyah in the Great Sky Islands.
- Obtain the Recall Ability to solve puzzle obstacles.
- Gather the one reward chest in the Nachoyah Shrine.
- Interact with the statues to receive rewards.
The Nachoyah Shrine Location
The Nachoyah Shrine is located in the Great Sky Islands. See the minimap down below for the exact location of the Nachoyah Shrine.
Detailed Exploration Walkthrough – The Nachoyah Shrine
In order to get to the Nachoyah Shrine, use the “Room of Awakening” teleportation waypoint to travel to the area.
Next, walk straight until you find this small corner. You will want to go under it and use your Ascend Ability to go on top of the place.
Once you’ve gone on top, you will see a wheel rolling towards you. You will want to make it go the other way so that you can go on top of it and let it ride you to the other side.
In order to do that, use your Recall Ability to rewind the wheel. The wheel will then rotates in the opposite direction, this is when you need to jump on it and let it bring you to the other side.
After that, keep going forward until you get to the Shrine. There will be a long wave through the cave so you just need to be patient. Don’t be afraid that you’ll get lost!
Next, you will find yourself in the Nachoyah Shrine. You will find a small raft in the water, which you can use to go to the other side. However, this is not something you can ride on, so you need to use one of your abilities.
Use your Recall Ability to make the raft go backwards, and you will be on the other side.
Once you get there, don’t turn off your Recall Ability immediately. Instead, you will want to walk forward a little bit to the end of the area when you get to the other side. Then, cancel your ability and your raft will be in the location just like the image down below.
Next, you will want to jump on it and use your Recall Ability a second time. This will bring you on top of the waterwall and you can progress further into the Nachoyah Shrine.
Once you get there, you can turn right immediately and go to the end of the dungeon. But that is not something we recommend you do since there is a reward chest for you to collect. Keep it in mind that these rewards, even small, can contribute greatly to your progress.
In order to do so, you will want to use your Recall Ability to rewind the wheel. This wheel will in turn rotates backwards, jump on it and let it rides you on top of the platform.
Then, you can collect the Treasure Chest which will give you 10 Arrows. You can use these arrows for later monster fights or hunting. There are many things you can do with this amazing item.
Next, you can just jump down and keep heading towards the right side of the Shrine to complete the last puzzle to finish the Nachoyah Shrine Exploration. This time, you will need to rewind the rotating axis of the circle. In this case, You will need to use your Recall Ability.
Here’s an important note, you will need to cast your Recall Ability at the correct moment. When you get there, you will see two axes rotating, and you will need to use the ability when the two things merge together just like in the image down below.
After that, the gate will be opened and you can just walk inside to complete the Nachoyah Shrine Puzzle. Time to receive your rewards!
