When you’re putting together a raft or a platform to stand up on in Tears of the Kingdom, you sometimes lack one more piece to make everything work. This is where the Zonai Devices come into play.
Your Ultrahand ability can only do so much during puzzles. Eventually, the game will throw in more pieces for you to put together as you progress through the story. In this guide, you’ll learn to make use of the Fan. That’s it, that’s the name of the device, here’s what you can do with it!
How to Create Zonai Railway Crate Car
The Zonai Fan will be one of seven Zonai devices you can use within the boundaries of the game. You’ll get more of them as you play on. You can even use the fan later on at the Tajikats Shrine once you land on the surface and finish the tutorial section of the game.
You’ll be making use of the Fan device as early as the Great Sky Island. The area in question will be the Mining Cave. You know, the one that comes after the Pondside Cave. Anyway, bring up your inventory and go to the Zonai Devices tab. You don’t have much to choose from at this point so bring out the fan to continue.
Bring one fan out and make use of your Ultrahand ability. Attach the fan at the back of whatever transport you’re using. Make sure that the trimmings or grills are facing the rear, otherwise you’ll be going the opposite direction. Now you don’t have to use sails whenever you’re near a body of water!
