When going around purging Xenos and demons in Warhammer 40k: Boltgun you might run into some secrets. These secrets can help you a lot from the blessings of the omnissiah making your guns better or just better ammunition! There’s a lot of secrets out there and it’s great to find all of them to complete the level.
In this guide, we’ll show you all the secrets in Chapter 2 Mission 3 of Warhammer 40K Boltgun. Now get your chainsword ready and your heavy bolter set because there’s a lot of enemies in the way!
All Secrets Chapter 2 Mission 3
Sometimes you just need a bit more dakka in purging those heretics and demons. That’s why you’ll want to find these secrets in the level! Here are all the secrets you can find all over Mission 3 of Chapter 2.
Secret #1 – Kraken Boltgun Magazine
From the start of the mission head to the left where you’ll see this large cylindrical object with the Mechanicus logo on it. Go behind it to continue.
Behind that area is a small cave with a green glow, go inside of it and you’ll find the secret.
It’s not a very big cave, just a small one and inside is the first secret which is: a Kraken Boltgun Magazine!
Secret #2 – Vortex Grenade
Continue through the level until you reach this big area with a chasm and a rock bridge that has a gap. Go to the tip of the broken rock bridge and look right.
There you’ll barely see a ledge that is in the same height as you. I suggest doing a sprint jump towards it and hopefully you nail it on the first try!
In that ledge is the next secret which is a Vortex Grenade!
Secret #3 – Machine Spirit
Looking down the chasm to where you need to go, you’ll find a place where a bunch of Nurglings come out of. In that small cave is where we need to go next. Use the image below as a reference and jump down there.
Inside the cave you’ll find the blessing of the Machine Spirit, which will upgrade a weapon for this mission. Be sure to equip the weapon you want to be upgraded before getting it!
Secret #4 – Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine
Continue on through the chasm and onto the hallway where there’s a bunch of enemies, specially nurglings. Once you reach the crossroads go left.
Follow the path until you reach the open area, then go straight forward shown below.
Continue going straight forward until you see the rock pillar with a chaos flag. Go behind it to continue.
Pictured below is the rock pillar with a chaos flag. Go behind it and there should be a cave there with a lot of ammunition.
At the very back of the cave is the next secret: a Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine.
Secret #5 – Aura of Doom
Continue through the level and you’ll get to a ledge that drops down to a purge area. Head to the right of the ledge to the next secret.
Continue following the right wall until you reach an area where there’s an open container. Inside it is where you’ll find the next secret: an Aura of Doom. Great to use in this area that needs purging!
Secret #6 – Munitions Boost
The last secret is in the same area as the previous one. Go forward from the previous secret and continue following the right wall.
You’ll head to this area with some ammunition and another container. The entrance of that container is facing away from you.
Go inside that container and you’ll find the last secret of the mission a Munitions Boost!
