For you who just love being able to hoard all the things The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has to offer, you don’t want to miss the Bubbul Gems. The Bubbul Gems are dropped only by Bubbul Frogs, creatures that mostly hide inside caves and underwater passages. But finding them can be hard.
The Bubbul Gems are necessary to trade for the Mystic set from Koltin and Kilton. But since it’s not part of the main story quest, it’s possible to completely miss it. And this time, we will help you find the Bubbul Frog inside the Mount Floria Cave.
Mount Floria Cave Bubbul Frog Location
If you haven’t found this cave yet, you can reach the entrance from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. The coordinates are (1950, -2600, 0072). Because of the weather, the cave entrance can be hard to see, but above the waterfall over here.
Immediately entering the place, you’ll meet Bokoblin making itself at home here. After you kill it, you’ll find the only pathway completely covered in thorns. You can go through by using Ultrahand and move one of the objects long enough to cover the thorns, namely the plank.
After going through, you can use the same plank as a makeshift pathway on yet another thorny section. The entire caves will be filled with a lot of thorns on the paths and rely on you finding the closest object to use as makeshift pathways like this.
Pass this section, keep heading south until you see several of these planks standing up. You’ll see more Bokoblins you can ignore or fight here. Drag the plank to create a makeshift pathway on the thorny area just right ahead from the planks.
From here, go left. Then go right where you’ll see several more of the planks standing above the only way you can go.
You can just climb the ladder and keep going further in where there will be more thorns. Cross the path and you’ll see boulders on your right.
Break the boulders with a Bomb Flower attached to your bow. After that, you’ll see a space behind it, enough to hide the Bubbul Frog from sight. Tricky! And that’s how you get the Mount Floria Cave Bubbul Gem!
