The Bubbul Frogs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are sometimes in plain sight. But there are times when these creatues are super sneaky when you just miss that corner, or that rock wall. However, you probably don’t want to miss out because you want to exchange for them with Koltin and Kilton for some cool items.
Keep reading for the Bubbul Frog location in the North Akkal Beach Cave and ways to enter this place.
North Akkala Beach Cave Bubbul Frog Location
There are two entrances to this cave if you have discovered it yet. The first one is the normal entrance on the surface and the coordinates are (4641, 3206, 0009). It has a pretty huge entrance out in the open, so finding this one shouldn’t be problematic.
Keep going deeper and you’ll be met with several Electric Keese and Horriblins. Kill them and go past them and continue to head deeper into the cave. You’ll see a sneakily hidden path to your right and you can explore that area to catch some Fairies as well.
The Black Hinox will be there blocking your way in. It’s possible to walk around it and not trigger the boss since he hits pretty hard. He can one-shot you if you’re still early game.
Go past him and continue deeper into the cave where you’ll end up in this room filled with Brightbloom Seeds and rubbles. Look up and you’ll see a huge, long pathway going up. That’s also where the Bubbul Frog is hanging out.
There’s also another way to find the Bubbul Frog and the cave if you haven’t found it. This way up connects to the Lomei Labyrinth Island. The coordinates are (4649, 3592, 0050), somewhere near the entrance to this labyrinth. It’s a pretty big hole, though, so it’s not too hard to find.
Do be aware that there are Gloom Hands that you might trigger if you got distracted by the chest that’s just next to the hole.
Down this hole, on the wall is where you can see the Bubbul Frog.
Now, the frog is located pretty much in the middle. Arching yourself up to the max probably isn’t enough to reach the Bubbul Frog. The same can also be said if you’re looking down from the labyrinth. There are several ways you can do this:
- Use AoE fruits like the Bomb Flower or Shock Fruit
- Ascend to the surface, then slowly glide down, but remain above the Bubbul Frog to scare him down to the bottom of the cave
- Ascend and attempt a super cool, slow-mo sharpshooting session as you drop down
