In the old days of Pokémon gaming, the only way you could transfer Pokémon is by using cables. Now in 2023, wireless connection is the norm, and video games are taking advantage of that. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are one of the many games that takes advantage of wireless connection, and they reward you for doing so by giving you Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. But they have hidden abilities in them that makes them special. In this guide, I will show you how you can get these Pokémon’s with their hidden abilities.
How to Get Hidden Ability Sprigatito, Fuecoco & Quaxly
Before you do anything, you will need to install Pokémon Home on your Switch and cellphone. Pokémon Home is important, as it is where you will receive the Pokémon’s and their hidden abilities.
Link Pokémon Home to Your Pokémon Game
With Pokémon Home now installed on your Switch and phone, go on the Pokémon Home on your Switch and connect to Pokémon Scarlet or Violet (select the Pokémon version that you have). You will then be prompted to connect to the game. Give it a minute to do so.
Move Pokémon from Your Box to Pokémon Home
After linking your Pokémon game to Pokémon Home, you will be taken to a screen that shows an empty box on your left, and a box to your right that should be filled with Pokémon that you have stored away. Grab any Pokémon from the right and move it to the box on the left. Afterwards, save your changes and exit from the menu.
Claim the Pokémon in Pokémon Home Mobile
After moving the Pokémon to the empty box, log in to Pokémon Home mobile and you will get this screen that rewards you for linking the game to Pokémon Home and moving a Pokémon to your Pokémon Home storage.
Claim the Pokémons in your Gift Box to properly receive them.
Move the Pokémon from Pokémon Home to Your Pokémon Game
Now to move your Pokémon to your game, go back to Pokémon Home on your Switch and connect to your Pokémon game version again. Once this screen pops up, look for the three Pokémon and simply move them individually to the box on the right. Afterwards, save the changes and exit.
Fire up Pokémon Scarlet or Violet and check the Boxes menu in the menu. You will be able to see the three Pokémon there, along with the hidden abilities they have.
