With the new Tears of the Kingdom game there’s a lot of new stuff added into the old and familiar ones. There are now new underground areas as well as sky islands in the game, and not only that but new items as well. One of the new items is the Sundelion, which can be used for some quests and even heal your gloom.

In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Sundelions in the game. So, get your Paraglider ready because we’re going to need it where we’re going!

Sundelion Locations

In their description Sundelions often grow in high altitudes where they can soak in sunlight. What’s the highest places you can find in the game? That’s right, the Sky Islands. Sundelions spawn in Sky Archipelagos!

One of the new items in Tears of the Kingdom is the Sundelion and you can use it to heal gloom. Just throw them into a cooking pot and make a dish with it and you have a consumable that heals gloom!

To access these Sky Archipelagos, you’ll want to go to the many Skyview Towers on the ground. When you activate these towers they’ll launch you up into the sky, you can then use your Paraglider to glide to a nearby Sky Archipelagos.

One of the better places to find Sundelion is in the North Necluda Sky Archipelago, which you can reach via the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. You can check out our guide on the Sahasra Slop Skyview Tower if you don’t know how to get there!

That Archipelago has around 10 Sundelions around it for you to pick up. They’re often found near trees and bushes around the archipelagos.

These Sundelions usually respawn after a blood moon. So, after you experience one you can then go back to the Sky Archipelagos and find more!

That’s where you can find Sundelions in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Now go up to those Sky Archipelagos and find those Sundelions!
