Open-world games like Tears of the Kingdom have different storylines and quests that players can accomplish by helping out villagers or saving the world from evil. However, there are a few hidden side quest that players forget, or doesn’t bother trying.
In this article, I will show you how to complete the hidden side quest called “A New Champion’s Tunic“. In this walkthrough, I will provide all the necessary information that you may need to finish the side quest like a true gamer.
How To Complete A New Champion’s Tunic
Players tend to forget about side quests and focus on the main quest. But this time we will finish the hidden side quest that some players may not be aware of. Like another other quest, you will need to talk to a certain NPC or go to a specific location to activate the quest. I will provide the coordinates of the locations and who you need to approach for the side quest. Let’s start this journey!
- Go to Zelda’s Secret Well found near the Firly Pond, as shown in the picture below. This is the starting location of the hidden quest. Here are the coordinates of the place for better map navigation. (3290, -2298, 0129)
- Upon reaching the exact location, you will find a small cabin and a well. The next thing you need to do is jump down Zelda’s Secret Well. Don’t worry it won’t hurt you or break Link’s tiny legs.
- Beneath the well is a small hideout where you can find Zelda’s Diary. Read the diary to start the side quest. The diary will hint at some clues about the quest.
- Our next location is the Hyrule Castle. At this point, traveling by land would take some time. Since we’re far away from the next location. I suggest you fast travel to the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. Here are the coordinates of the tower. (-0290, 0133, 0023)
- We will use the tower to launch ourselves into the sky and glide our way toward the castle. This is more efficient than building any vehicles for transportation. After launching into the sky, just look to the right and you will see the Hyrule Castle.
- Once you reach the castle, go inside and go up the staircase. You will see 2 fire pits at the center of the second floor and behind it is a statue. I suggest you use a bomb flower or any flammable item to ignite both fire pits. TRY NOT to use the bomb flower too close, or you might damage yourself.
- After igniting both of the fire pits. The statue behind it will move and reveal a hidden treasure. Inside that treasure is our reward for the hidden quest. You will receive the Champion’s Leathers.
That’s all you need to do in order to finish the hidden quest called A New Champion’s Tunic. It’s plain and simple, just follow my steps and you will get yourself a new armor set to improve your style.
