Looking inside the inventory of any player in Diablo IV can sometimes tell a story of its own. If you’ve been playing the game long enough then you probably wouldn’t mind seeing a lot of undead tongues rotting away next to your potions. Sure it’s a macabre sight but those healing potions don’t just manifest on their own!
Farming Paletongue in the game has a lot of uses, which makes getting the resource quite difficult for some players. We can minimize that difficulty by providing you with at least three locations to farm for the resource in this guide.
Paletounge Best Farming Location
Paletounge is a magic crafting material that you can find from different monsters. However, they’re guaranteed to drop from three specific Super Unique Monsters across the map. These monsters would be Almunn, Captain Willcocks, and a Trembling Mass parasite.
Your journey for Paletounge will take you to the Fethis Wetlands, Blight Marsh, and The Scarred Coast. Lucky for you, the first two regions where the Trembling Mass and Captain can be found are right next to each other. You just need to use the Vyeresz Stronghold waypoint to get to both locations. For the Scarred Coast, you’re going to have to use Alzuuda which is in the Fields of hatred.
Location No. 1
Let’s go to the far off area first. You can find Almunn in The Scarred Coast of the Dry Steppes region. He will turn into Jebtaa after defeating his first winged demon form. Along with the Paletongue, he will also drop the rare Infernal Edge two-handed sword.
Location No. 2
The Trembling Mass can be seen at the Diseased Embankment of the Fethis Wetlands. You can get five units of Paletounge every time you defeat the monster. Be quick when dealing with the Trembling Mass as it summons parasites that allow it to be reborn if not killed fast enough. Another item you can get will be the Trembling Ring. A Rare Ring that grants you life points every time you make a kill.
Location No. 3
Head east into the Blightmarsh coming from the Wetlands (or the other way around) to find Captain Willcocks. He’ll be at The Dark Dross area and will also drop five units of Paletongue upon defeat. Make sure to use the Vyeresz Waypoint to save some time on walking.
And those are the three best farming locations for Paletongue in Diablo IV. Remember to log in and out again until they respawn if you’re hurting for more resources! That or you can farm Crushed Beast Bones instead.
