When going around the massive map of Diablo 4 you might encounter some dungeons. These dungeons not only give you enemies to defeat and loot to get but also aspects for clearing them the first time. These aspects can buff your abilities and even add new effects making them important for most builds. Each dungeon gives a specific aspect so you should know where to find these dungeons!
In this guide we’ll show you where to find the Forgotten Ruins dungeon in the game. Not only that but we’ll also show you what to expect inside that dungeon and what aspect it gives! Now let’s see where this place is!
Forgotten Ruins Location
The Forgotten Ruin Dungeon can be found in the southwestern part of the map. There in Kehjistan you’ll need to go to the Ragged Coastline, which is southwest of Amber Sands. There’s only one Waypoint in the Ragged Coastline but you’ll need to do a quest to unlock it, the next closest waypoint is the Altar of Ruin Waypoint shown below. The area of the dungeon is called the Forgotten Ruins as well.
When you clear this dungeon for the first time you’ll get the Iron Blood Aspect, a Barbarian only aspect. This aspect makes it so you gain damage reduction for each nearby bleeding enemy. This is great if you want to be tankier and your build does a lot of bleed!
The entrance of the dungeon is inside the ruins, thus the name. It stands out though because like all dungeons in the game, it glows orange and red. You can use the image below as a reference.
Like all other dungeons in the game the Forgotten Ruins will have enemies and elites depending on your World Tier. Not only that but you’ll also have objectives that you’ll need to do to clear the dungeon like slaying all the enemies in an area, returning mechanical boxes to pedestals and fighting the boss. The boss of the dungeon is called Slither.
