Horizon Forbidden West | Search for Erend’s Tracks

Horizon Forbidden West has a lot of great gameplay mechanics. One of which is Aloy’s Focus ability, which allows her to track machines and people easily. Which is pretty useful for the main quest called To The Brink, which needs you to search for Erend’s tracks to progress the game.

While Aloy does have the focus, some players can have difficulty in tracking, so this guide will help those who have trouble completing the objective.

Search for Erend’s Tracks – Horizon Forbidden West

After speaking with Thurlis, you’ll get a new objective to find Erend’s tracks. First thing you need to do is to follow the waypoint first where Erend’s tracks are located at.

Once at the location, activate your Focus and look for the tracks on the ground. It’s easy to spot where it is, just look for the holographic images of people.

Once you find the tracks, all you have to do then is to simply follow where they lead.

Eventually you’ll find what seems to be green fire on the ground with a broken staircase leading to sounds of fighting. Approach the area leading up the staircase and a cutscene will trigger, meaning that you have finished the objective.
