Faro’s Tomb Guide | Horizon Forbidden West

Post-apocalyptic Tomb Raider? I like it.

Horizon Forbidden West is a huge game filled with lots of side quests (Errands), collectibles, challenges, and rewards. Not to mention the main story, which takes 20 to 25 hours to beat. Combine that with all of the other side content? I’d say you’ll have 30 to 40 hours to fully complete the game.

Of course, people want to complete the main story first, but some of those missions take a long time to complete, especially Faro’s Tomb. With this guide, we’ll be able to help you complete it quick.

Faro’s Tomb Guide – Horizon Forbidden West

The start of the quest needs you to go to Legacy’s Landfall, which is only accessible by boat.

The boat will then take you to San Francisco, or what remains of it, and Aloy will have to follow the trail to Legacy’s Landfall. Be careful along the way, as machines will cross your path.

Once at Legacy’s Landfall, speak to Ceo and Bohai to learn more about the Quen.

They will then tell you to go to Thebes, in which you’ll have to fight a Thunderjaw to enter. To easily beat the Thunderjaw, make sure to inflict Acid damage, as it is its weakness. Once the Thunderjaw is defeated, head inside.

Once inside, you’ll soon find that you cannot enter using the main entrance. You’ll have to dive underwater to get inside and let the Quen in.

You’ll find obstacles in your way, such as turbines that will damage you should you get too close when it starts. Time your movements right when the turbine stops, and you should be able to enter Thebes no problem.

Once inside, you’re free to explore the area. When you’re done exploring, head to the main bunker room and access the control panel to let the Quen in.

Once the Quen are in, you will then be attacked by Corrupters in a large room with Faro’s statue in the middle. Use Fire against Corrupters to take them down easily. Once they’re down, head deeper into Thebes and scan the Medical Chair for a Hologram Datapoint.

Continuing inside the facility will lead you to a locked door. Look to your right and you’ll find a vent. Use your Pullcaster to open it and crawl through. Once inside the room, interact with the console. The Quen will then attack you, so you have to fight them.

Once the Quen are defeated, escape Thebes and the quest will automatically finish.
