Pet Capsules Simulator is an amazing ROBLOX game where you get to obtain cuddly creatures and have a whole collection of them. There are many things for you to do in the game, from hanging out with friends, obtaining new pets and even getting yourself on top of that leaderboard.
With many things to discover, you may probably be struggling with how to get started. In this guide, we will provide you with the most basic features to the game that you need to know. As a beginner, there are lots of things for you to learn about, so stay tuned!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
Capsule
When you first launch the game and look behind you, you will find the shiny boxes around you. These shiny boxes with colors and pets inside of them are called Capsules. You probably have guessed it, this is one of the main ways for you to progress in the game. There are a whole lot of boxes for you to open as you progress, so feel free to take the time and explore that feature!
As you play the game and unlock new floors, you will find that your pets are starting to clear the gem piles or coin piles more slowly. This means that you will need to replace your current pets with better ones. Here you can use your precious coins to open up new pets that allow you to become stronger.
The Free-to-Play Gem Shop
When you look to the right when you first get into the game, you will be able to see a Free-to-Play shop. This is a feature that makes the game different from other ROBLOX Pay-to-Win games. With this Shop, you can actually purchase all of the features, or gamepasses that would normally be costing you Robux.
In the Promos tab, you will be able to use your gems to purchase the Limited Time Capsules, or Limited Time Mega Pets! You may think that they are too expensive for you to get, yes they are. However, you will see that you have days, or even weeks to start gathering the gems to buy them!
If you explore the tab, you will see that you can also purchase one of the cheaper options. For example, you can purchase other limited time capsules that cost less, or you can opt for the Limited Time Legendary Pets. They are all decent pets that you may want to obtain to become stronger.
Then, if you move to the Passes tab, you will see all the perks that you can purchase inside the game. These perks can aid you in your journey greatly since some of them even allow you to grind while you are AFK. These automatic grind features are usually pay-to-win in other games, so that’s why this makes this game special.
Here is the list of all the Passes you can buy from the Free-to-Play Gem Shop:
Segway: This allows you to navigate around faster. As you play the game, you will need to move from one floor to another. With so much distance to travel, this pass can be useful for you at times.
Automatic Pets: This will allow you to unlock a control menu for your pets. In this Menu, you can make your pets automatically farm the coin piles, gem piles, gifts, crates and chests. You can also set a priority for the items you want to obtain. For example, if you prioritize gem piles, your pets will always gather these items first before other resources.
Storage100: The Storage 100 Pass increases your pet bag’s capacity by 100. This allows you to bring more pets at one period of time, which is useful for many purposes. Sometimes, you will need to select multiple pets when you convert them into Neon Pets in the Neon Machine. This is when this pass becomes useful since you can carry more pets without having to go back to the capsules every time to refill your pet inventory.
Pets2: This pass allows you to have another 2 pets equipped. This means that you can triple the power of your pets with all 3 pets equipped. Stronger pets allow you to clear resources quicker and progress faster in the game.
Investor: This pass allows you to list 5 More Pets in your Trade Booth. This pass becomes useful as you get further into the game and needs to utilize the trading feature.
Magnet: Just like its name, this allows you to collect the resources from further away. Standing still and still being able to obtain everything is just time-saving and useful. Imagine having to move all the time, being lazy is the best, am I right?
AutoCapsules: This is another AFK feature you can utilize. After you grind all those coins and want to open capsules, you won’t want to sit for hours opening them. Instead, you may want to use this feature to help you save time opening boxes.
Teleport: This allows you to teleport to any unlocked zone, which will save you a lot of time.
VIP: Allows you to unlock the VIP area and receive Daily VIP rewards.
TripleCapsules: You will be able to open 3 Capsules at the same time. This becomes even more useful as you use the Automatic Capsule Pass along with it.
Storage500: The Storage 500 Pass increases your pet bag’s capacity by 500. Combined with the previous pass, this totals up to 600 slots for your pets.
+4 Pets: This allows you to have another 4 pets equipped. If you also take into account the pass previously mentioned, you can have up to 7 pets at the same time. This makes you even stronger for clearing resources.
Luck and Crazy Luck: These two passes increase your chances of obtaining rarer pets. These can be really useful as you reach late game since you can obtain stronger pets more easily.
Rainbow Capsules: Capsules have a chance to contain a pet with a Rainbow buff. Stronger pets are always good!
In the Boosts Tab, you will be able to see some of the useful buffs that you can obtain. They are the Coins Boost, Damage Boosts, Open Speed Boost and Open Rarity Boost. If you purchase these items, you will also receive an EXP increase towards your Boost Mastery. Upon reaching Max Level Mastery, this will allow you to have longer durations for your boosts.
Earning Diamonds
Now that you know the passes that you can obtain and are probably interested in getting all of them. But the question is, how do you obtain the diamonds? Some of the ways you can do that are from Missions. These missions can be daily missions, they can be weekly or only appear on special occasions. These give you an amazing number of gems depending on their difficulties.
You can also collect gems from Gem Piles you can find around the map. In the image down below, we have marked them for you so you know how they look. These shiny gem piles can give you a decent amount of gems, up to more than 4,000 gems for each pile if you reach one of the last levels.
Trading Booth
Remember that pass that allows you to list more pets in the Trading Booth? Now let’s learn more about it. The Trading Booth allows you to list your pets in a Booth for gems as the main currency. Once you have sold your pets, you will be able to gain some more gems as another resource of gem income.
Upgrades – Tickets
In the first area where you spawn, if you walk for a short distance and look to your right, you will be able to see the Upgrade Area. In the Upgrades menu, you will be able to increase your magnet level, your coins and gems levels and also increase your pet storage.
However, these will cost you a currency called the Tickets. To obtain tickets, you will need to delete some of your pets. Upon deleting your pets, you will see a menu that asks you to again confirm your decision. After that, you will be able to obtain some tickets for your upgrades.
Pet Trainer
The Pet Trainer is to the left of the first area when you first get into the game. Here you will be able to obtain a trait for your pets. You will be able to use some gems to obtain some of the useful traits for your pets. Keep it in mind that the Gem Cost increases if your pet is stronger or rarer.
In the Image down below, you can see that one of the traits you can get is the Damage Trait. This allows your pet to do more damage. There are many other traits as well for you to obtain, with a 1% chance of obtaining a Legendary Trait!
Neon Machine
You may also significantly improve the attack strength of your pets with the use of a mechanism called the Neon Machine. Here’s an example, The Neon Sky Cheetah is significantly more powerful than the normal version (by 20 times stronger). Shining Pets have a much higher chance of converting into Neon Pets.
Pet School
The next feature you want to know about is the Pet School. You can use this feature by sending your Pets to school. In this place, they will start opening caches, giving you a chance to obtain other pets as well. They will open a set number of capsules, depending on how long you send them to school. After they finish a grade and open the capsules, they will give you only the highest rarity pet.
Rainbow Machine
The next feature you want to know about is the Rainbow Machine. The Rainbow Machine will help you convert your pets into Rainbow Pets, and greatly increase their power. Keep it mind that you may want to avoid converting Neon pets as they take one week to convert.
However, you can also choose to convert the Neon pets to further increase their strengths. Upgrading a normal version pet to Neon, then converting them to the Rainbow version can make them stronger. This is basically increasing your pets’ powers two times in a row!
Free Loot
If you look on top of your screen, you will be able to see a gift box. Click on that icon and you will be able to see the Free Loot feature. Here you will be able to obtain boxes, the final chests can have a chance of giving you a Limited Mega Pet!
Mega Pets
Mega Pets are incredibly strong pets that you can obtain. If you look at the previously mentioned information, you will know that you can obtain these from chests, free loot, the free-to-play shop and pet school as well. For more in-depth information, you can see our guide on How to Get Mega Pets.
Mega Pets vary in strengths as some of them may be easier for you to obtain or be harder for you to get. But still, they can still be one of the strongest pets you can get in the game. This is why many end game players strive to obtain these pets so they can sell them at the trade booth for even more gems.
Mastery
As you progress in the game, you will also run into a system called Masteries. Each and every single skill in the game will have a leveling system. Upon maxing these skills, you will be able to obtain even more perks and buffs that greatly help you progress and gain more resources.
