Diablo 4 has been out for a while now, but many are still surprised to see that the game launched with quite a few bugs that prevent quests from completing. One such quest that is affected is the Fury Against Fate quest, in which a bug is preventing from continuing on with the quest. There is no patch yet that will fix this bug, but we were luckily able to find a solution to fix it temporarily. In this guide, I will show you how to fix the Fury Against Fate quest bug.
How to Fix Fury Against Fate Quest Bug
The event near Wasting Hollow is the primary cause of this bug. Whenever this event occurs, the Fury Against Fate quest bugs out. What’s supposed to happen is, the quest NPC’s are supposed to head down to the feeding ground. But due to the event, the NPC’s do not move and will stand idle at the dungeon entrance.
If you have already started the quest and are in the cave, then your only solution is to go out of the cave and complete the event. After that, restart your game and enter the cave again. This will then allow you to speak to Ealda and the “Clear the cannibal feeding ground” objective will appear, allowing you to continue with the quest.
If you have not started the quest, however, you can check to make sure that there are no events in currently active near the Wasting Hollow. If there is, complete the event and then make your way back to Ealda to start the quest and complete the quest before the next event appears.
Here are more fixes that you can try:
- Reset instance, run in, trigger the quest, and run straight out of the dungeon, and load back in immediately and come back into the dungeon.
- Encounter the bug in the cave. Exit the cave. Exit to character selection. Change world tier from character selection screen (should not matter which tier you go to or from as long as it changes). Log back in. Enter cave (nearby events should not matter; one was active when I entered the cave)
- Talk to trigger the speech, climb the wall to the entrance and wait. Once the speech is finished, the NPCs attack. Climp down and join.
