Adventures never cease in this new game by Fear Frontier Studios. Roblox A Dusty Trip is an open-world game where players can explore the endless sandy desert. In this game, it’s you and your car against the world to take on the challenges of the harsh desert sun and terrain. In this article, I’ll give you a Complete Beginners Guide for A Dusty Trip before you take the wheel.

A Dusty Trip – Beginner Guide

Given that the game is still in beta, you can expect that a lot of mechanics are still subject to change. That being said, this guide should give you a good idea of what to expect when you first play A Dusty Trip.

Washing your car in A Dusty Trip can be a sudsy experience.

Gameplay Basics

  • Open Doors by left clicking on the door and drag the mouse left or right.
  • There are two cars you can use from the spawn—one in front of the spawn, and the other behind it.
    • If you have a bigger team, use the car behind the spawn.
  • Fix up the cars by taking the wheels, headlights, and engine from spawn and attaching them to the cars.
  • Attach the doors to the car. All of these parts can be found in the spawn point.
  • The smaller car will take 60L of gas to fill, the gas should be somewhere in the first spawn point.
  • Grab all the food you can from the spawn and put them in the car.
  • Start the car by pressing R. Make sure you have the hand breakdown before you do this.
  • When you stop the car make sure you activate your hand brake to prevent losing your car.
  • When driving on a slope turn off your engine so that you can save up on gas.
  • Kill zombie monsters on the road by running them over with your car or using an axe.
    • You can find the axe in abandoned shacks or gas stations
  • Watch out for small and large stones on the road. Hitting them can cause your car to dismantle.

Early Scavenging

Early in the game, your main priorities will be looking for gas, water, an axe, and better engines. This shack, which is a short drive north of the first spawn, will be the jackpot place for most of your early-game needs.

This shack will give you all the early game essentials.

Once you get here, you can pick up the axe and kill the single zombie in the shack. To do this, press F to pick up the axe and scroll on your mouse to extend your arm. After this, just shake your mouse side to side to swing the axe and kill the monster.

You can upgrade your car using the objects in this shack to increase your inventory capacity. You will also find a V8 engine in this shack. This engine is only compatible with diesel, so if you are currently using gas, wait for it to run out before you replace your engine and then use diesel.

If your engine starts to overheat (marked by a ton of smoke), put water in the radiator. To do this, head to the front of the car and open it. Hover your cursor above the jerrycan and make sure it’s water. It takes 5L of water to fill up the radiator.

Additional Tips

  • Take spare tires with you. These can save you when your car gets damaged on the road.
  • Don’t use gas on your V8 engine.
  • If you can’t avoid a rock on the road, make sure to hit it head-on to keep the car stable,
  • Zombies can kill you while you’re in the car.
  • If you die, you will respawn nearby where you were killed.
  • If you put the wrong liquid in the radiator, you can empty it out into an empty jerrycan.
  • Make sure your engine and radiator are always sealed so nothing spills out when the car is overturned.
  • If your car is overturned, you can use dynamite to flip it back over.
  • You can wash your car using a sponge.
Zombies can be hidden in abandoned shacks.

And that’s everything on this complete beginner’s guide for A Dusty Trip! This guide should give new players an idea of how to play the game without getting lost under the desert sun.
