Across the new temple and big monument building you’ll go inside you will end up seeing the Activate the Device and Turn Another Machine multiple times. In total, there are 3 big sets of events where you will come across this. That is why in this guide we are going to be showing you all the 3 devices and the machine turns that you’ll need to do to be able to pass through the entire building. Let’s get started.
Genshin Impact – Activate The Device & In Turn Another Machine Somewhere Within The Temple
1/3 Activate The Device & Turn Another Machine
The first door and device that you’ll come across in the temple is the following. You will need to hit the main big device in the middle a total of 4 times to get the beam to be showing in the small little window thingy on the wall. Once you do so, pull the lever and you’ll open the door.
The second one that you’ll come across will have you hitting the device once. Then the beam will go to the sand and you are able to pull the lever. Hit it a total of 2 more times then and it will proceed to go through the little window.
After that is done, go back into the main big room. You can find yet another Device here. Hit it one time and then remove the sand from the lever. Pull the lever to open the door. Enter through the door and on your right activate the cube structure to finish the first device.
After that is done, you will have one more very simple device to open which will lead you to open a door and head to Search The Temple.
2/3 Activate The Device & Turn Another Machine
The big activated device that you will see in the cutscene, needs to be hit a total of 2 times. First time to get the sand out of the main pyramid in the middle, and then the one to get the sand out of the lever and structure for you to be able to open up the door.
Once you get through the door, you will see another Device on rails. Move the Device all the way to the end and then strike it a total of 3 times to get the beam showing toward the door. You will then clear out the sand and open the door here.
Then when you enter through that door, you will do the absolute same. Just move the rails and strike the device until it goes toward the sand. Once it gets there you will activate another structure behind it and open up the door.
Behind that door, you’ll take a right on the stairs and see another device behind an enemy. Move the device once on the rails and then hit it until you get the beam to the right side to reveal that lever under the sand, and then hit it again to move it to the little window on the left.
Now just do the same thing on the left. Move the device and proceed to open the door under the sand with the lever. Get on the inside and activate the main structure to finish up the second Activation of the Device in the Temple. Now you will need to look for a way back to the temple.
3/3 Activate The Device & Turn Another Machine
When you get the two enemies spawning in front of you after the cutscene, you will want to take the left door and enter it. You will move the device on the rails and open the door on the left. Here you can find a total of 3 Devices.
Move the first one on the rails and the beam to be showing in the little window. Then move the second across the rails and proceed to make the beam toward the sand on the right of the wall.
Then at the end just get the device to move the beam toward the sand and you will need to open up the door. Of course, you turn the devices by attacking them, that goes without saying.
Once you go through the door you will want to follow the stairs up. Once you get to the top, find the Device and then hit it until it beams toward the circled structure above. Activate the structure and jump down into the hole that will open up for you.
When you get to the bottom of this hole you will find one last Device that you will need to activate. Once you activate it you will get all of the Devices to be up and running and complete the quest Now just look a way back to the temple and you’ll finish it. Congratulations!
