Roblox Adopt Me is celebrating the Lunar New Year 2024 Event! During this event, you can collect unique event items with the new Yakgwa Currency. In this guide, we will show you all the ways you can collect the currency so you can start buying all your favorite event items.
How To Get Yakgwa Lunar New Year Update 2024
During the Lunar New Year Update 2024, you can activate the Kite launchers around the map to receive Yakgwas. Each day, you can get up to 900 of them!
There is also a unique minigame that you can play with many other players. For each game you win, you can earn up to 3200 Yakgwa.
Flying Kites
You can go to the 6 Launch Kite Locations daily to fly kites. For each Kite you launch, you will be able to receive 150 Yakgwa. If you manage to find all of them, you’ll be able to have 900 daily.
The Kites can be found in the town area. As long as you follow along the roads in a circle, you will be able to find up to 5 Launch Kite Locations. For the last one, you can go to the area in front of the Pet Shop to find it.
Red Lantern, Green Lantern
Red Lantern, Green Lantern is a new event minigame during the Adopt Me Lunar New Year 2024 Event. This is the best way to obtain Yakgwa fast in the event.
The minigame is like the Red Light, Green Light challenge in Squid Game. When the lights are turned on, you will want to stop moving to prevent elimination.
As you collect these Food Bowls, you will want to pay attention to all the lanterns nearby. When the lanterns are turned on, you will want to stop moving. If you move, you will be eliminated.
When you first join, you will need to collect Food Bowls. There are two types of Food Bowls you can collect, the golden ones and the normal ones. Keep in mind that you can only carry up to three food bowls at a time.
You will still respawn if you are eliminated. However, your final score at the end will be reduced, meaning that you will receive less Yagwa.
Upon reaching 3200 or more points, you will be able to receive the maximum reward, which is 3200 Yakgwa. To be able to do this, follow the steps:
- Collect 3 Golden Food Bowls (2 times)
- Collect 3 Regular Food Bowls (2 times)
- As you do this, always pay attention to the Lantern lights.
Spending Yakgwa
Once you have earned Yakgwa, you can buy unique pets and legendary items from the Event Shop. There are also Special Lunar New Year Gift Boxes that you can buy.
These boxes have different chances of giving you Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra-Rare, and Legendary items.
That’s how you can get Yakgwa quickly in the Adopt Me Lunar New Year 2024 Event! There’s also another method you can use, which is creating alternative accounts so you can obtain items on them as well. Some of the items are tradeable, meaning that you can give them to your main account.
