Alan Wake 2 lets you become up to two playable characters. The first character you get to try early on is Saga Anderson, an FBI agent who is working on cases in Bright Falls. You will also get to play as another second playable character, Alan Wake, as you progress further into the storyline.
After you have found a way to get into the Caldera St Station, it is now time for you to explore what is inside of it. However, you may struggle to know which items to interact with, or what you need to find for the next part of the story. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can explore Caldera St Station.
Explore Caldera St Station
The lights of the station are now turned on thanks to what you did in the previous part of the quest. Then, try to find a device on the right side of the entrance door.
On the top right of your screen, you can select the Subway Pass, which will allow you to unlock the door.
Walk through the door and turn left. After that, you will see the game’s objective telling you to Rewrite the Caldera St. Station scene.
You will then be able to see a small circle in front of you. Aim with your weapon and try to align the Echo with the circle by approaching it from a specific angle.
After that, a shadow will appear right after. What you want to do is to stand still and wait for it to stop speaking.
Then, you will receive a missing FBI plot element. Immediately after, you will see the game’s instructions telling you that you have discovered your first Plot Element from an Echo.
You can then rewrite it into reality on the Plot Board.
Once you have opened up the board, select the Missing FBI Agent Plot Element and activate it to rewrite reality in the Calder St. Station Scene.
After that, the environment will change and the objective will be completed. You will now receive a new objective called Follow the Blood Trail.
