Once you get some new toys to play around with and make your way out of the studio in Alan Wake 2, you’ll come to realize that all of it will be rather short lived since you’ll be needing to head back underground again.
That’s right, the logical choice to make after getting to the surface is immediately going back underground. But how do you get inside the subway? Surely the entrance can’t be that easy to get through, right? Find out more by reading the guide below!
Find the Subway Station Entrance
The subway station entrance is right on Caldera St. in front of the plaza. Use your new Angel Lamp when you get to the location provided in the image below to reveal the entrance.
Doing so will get rid of the garbage blocking the way, showing a staircase that goes down.
Going in there with only a single charge from your Angel Lamp will get you nowhere. Save yourself the trouble of going up and down the stairs and go to the corner of Draft St. instead.
Use your angel lamp again on the lamp post to gain access to the staircase on your left side.
Turn around when you get to the top of the stairs. Follow the tracks and turn left at the end to find a ladder. Go up the roof and head for the doorway going back downstairs.
Look to your left when you get down and you’ll find a spot where you can do a manual save. Go past the room and get on the bridge that leads to the next building.
The walls will start to move around you even more as you go up the stairs. Now, you’re in an alleyway next to Caldera Street. Go straight and use your Angel Lamp on the taxi up ahead.
Go back into the alley and turn left before you get to the door. There’s a fence gate at the end that can be opened freely to save you from the trouble of going through the rooftop again.
Use the light you got from the taxi to bring up the stairs leading back into the station. Take the light back from the lamp post earlier and use it to show the subway station entrance.
That’s how you can find the subway station entrance in Alan Wake 2. Here’s hoping you got a ticket, the ride’s just getting started.
