Zadak Plasma Discharger Modding Guide For Aliens: FTE
The Zadak Plasma Discharger is an interesting and unique shotgun that you can at the end of the new Pathogen Campaign. It’s an energy-based shotgun which makes it stand out from the rest of the shotguns in the game. Also, unlike other shotguns you can charge this for a closer spread but at the cost of your DPS so it’s not really that useful unless it’s specific circumstances.
The Base Zadak Plasma Discharger can be great but we can make it even more effective with a few tweaks. These are the attachments to make this weapon a great addition to your arsenal:
- Tanker Muzzle Brake: A higher effective range plus weak-point damage and stumble chance. The main draw of this attachment is the 33% chance of stunning the enemy. This makes it a great crowd control weapon.
- Launch Accelerator: Increased Fire rate is a great addition to this gun’s pretty low base fire rate. Also, the added stumbling chance and handling makes this a great choice.
- Green Dot Sight: More weak point damage plus a 30% increase in effective range helps this gun tremendously. Especially since shotguns in general have very harsh damage falloff.
