Terraria 1.4.4 is fantastic because it brings very new things to the table. Players are having a blast and actually, a very big chunk of the player base is coming back to experience the new achievements that have been added. In this guide, you will learn how to do all of them. Let’s get started.

Terraria 1.4.4 – All New Achievements in Terraria & How To Get Them

There are 11 new achievements that you can achieve in the brand new patch that just go tagged in Terraria. They are certainly very fun to go for and do pose a certain challenge when going for them. Here they are listed one after the other:

Black Mirror

You can get this achievement if you have a Cell Phone in your inventory, so if you’ve already made one, it will open up automatically. If there isn’t one, you’ll have to make one.

There are many steps to making a Cell Phone. The main things you need are:

  • Analyser
  • Gold/Platinum
  • DPS Meter \s
  • Stopwatch
  • Watch
  • Depth Meter
  • Compass
  • Radar
  • Metal Detector
  • Fisherman’s Pocket Guide
  • Sextant
  • Magic/Ice Mirror
  • Tally
  • Counter
  • Lifeform
  • Weather Radio

Unusual Survival Strategies

For this achievement, you just need to get a Bottle of Water and drink it while taking damage from drowning.

Feast of Midas

To get this achievement, all you have to do is make a Golden Delight by putting a Gold Worm in a Cooking Pot.

Getting this achievement is easy if you use Journey mode and research the Can of Worms, which can be found in chests on the surface. Then copy the item and keep opening it until you get a Gold Worm.

An Eye for an Eye

To do this, you just have to beat Deerclops. The boss can appear on its own, but it needs a Blizzard at midnight and at least one player with 9 defense or 200 health. It is much easier to make a Deer Thing, which, when used in a Snow Biome, can call up a Deerclops.

You can make a Deer Thing by combining 3 Flinx Fur, 1 Lens, and 5 Demonite/Crimtane Ore.

Ankhumulation Complete

Like the Black Mirror achievemnt, but using the Ankh Shield instead of a mirror. If you have this item in your bag, it will be unlocked immediately. Once again, you’ll need to make one from scratch if you don’t already have one.

The Ankh Shield has its own extensive crafting tree, including the following as its foundational components:

  • Bezoar
  • Nazar
  • Megaphone
  • Trifold Map
  • Fast Clock
  • Obsidian Skull
  • Cobalt Shield
  • Blindfold
  • Vitamins
  • Armour Polish
  • Adhesive Bandage

A Rare Realm

To get this achievement, you just have to go into any world made with a secret seed. These are the secret seeds that you will need to type in to get inside of them:

  • no traps
  • don’t dig up
  • get fixed boi
  • for the worthy
  • celebrationmk10
  • the constant
  • 05162020 (Drunk World)
  • not the bees!

Torch God

This achievement is finished when you have used the Torch God’s Favour. If you have already done this, it will unlock automatically.

You have to make it through the Torch God event in order to get the Torch God’s Favor. This is started by putting at least 101 torches close to each other in the Underground or Cavern layer. If you are in the Surface layer, the event will not start. This event will go much better if you build a small arena and have some things to help you move around.

The Great Slime Mitosis

To get this achievement, you need all 8 town slimes. Each one has different moving-in requirements, which are shown here:

  • Elder Slime moves in after you use a Golden Key to open an Old Shaking Chest in the Cave Layer.
  • Diva Slime moves in after Shimmer is hit with a Sparkle Slime Balloon.
  • When you use Purification Powder on a Mystic Frog in the Jungle, it turns into Mystic Slime.
  • The Squire Slime moves in when a Copper Helmet is dropped on a Slime.
  • Cool Slime: Can move in when a Party is happening.
  • Clumsy Slime can be found floating near floating islands in the Space Layer.
  • During a Blood Moon, you can catch Surly Slime by fishing.
  • Once King Slime is dead, the Nerdy Slime comes to live there.

And Good Riddance

For this achievement, you must talk to the dryad in a world with no Corruption, Crimson, or Hallow. The Dryad needs one game day to notice changes, so if you just cleaned up the world, you might not get this one right away.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to create a new small world, defeat one boss, build a house for the Dryad to live in, and then get rid of the evil biome. The easiest way to clean up the bad biome is with a Clentaminator or the new Terraformer and Green Solution.

A Shimmer In The Dark

For this achievement, you have to drop a Clentaminator into Shimmer, the new fluid that came with this update. It will turn into the Terraformer after a short time in the liquid, and picking it up will give you the achievement.

To Infinity and Beyond!

To complete this mission, speak with the Cyborg that moves in after you beat Plantera and purchase a Kwad Racer Drone and a set of FPV Goggles. Put on your first-person-view goggles and take off in your Kwad Racer Drone. If you’re having trouble, try it out on a larger planet.

And that’s all of them! We hope that this guide has served its purpose and helped you to achieve them all. A big thank you to beaverrac from YouTube for the details. Check him out here.
