As the title implies, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a fairly long JRPG with over a hundred characters that you can recruit to your cause. Some of these people are required to upgrade aspects of your headquarters, and among them is Frida, who will give you access to the armor shop. Here is how you can recruit her!
All Location to Build Armor Shop (Frida)
After getting your castle, which will have whichever name you chose (Excaliburg, Brazengard, Glinvale Keep, Last Oasis, etc.), you will get the Hoist the Alliance Banner quest, which will have you recruiting people for the resistance.
We actually have a fairly in-depth guide on what to do after getting the castle that will tell you in great detail how to recruit as many characters as you can for this quest (including this one).
In this guide, though, we will only be focusing on the armorer, Frida, who you may have missed. Simply put, she can be found in Werne Village only after you get your headquarters. If you need more detailed instructions, read on!
Backtracking Through the Mines
Whether or not you are still doing the Hoist the Alliance Banner quest, we will be using the headquarters as a reference so you can easily follow along. This is also because you might not have recruited Carrie yet to unlock fast travel (it is only doable way after this quest).
At the first floor of your castle, head through the northern door at the middle and go into the well to your right. This will bring you back into the abandoned mine, where you can recruit various other people if you haven’t already.
We’re sending you through the mines just in case you missed some valuable characters in here (namely Hiro and Ormond). Anyways, backtrack all the way to the main entrance to leave the abandoned mine.
You will then find yourself in Grum County. From here, head over to Werne Village highlighted in red in the overworld map image below.
Entering Werne Village
Once you are in Werne Village, just head on over to the west immediately after entering the area. Here, you will find a stylish looking NPC with a cozy little armor shop setup. This is Frida, the ally you are looking for.
Fortunately for you, she will not ask for anything before joining your cause. She’ll immediately offer her services after deciding that the resistance headquarters is a great place to practice her trade.
After speaking with her, the fashion-forward armorer will join your party and unlock the ability to construct the Armor Shop back at base. This will require just around 600 headquarters funds.
And that is everything you need to know in order to unlock the armor shop in your base. While you are here, consider checking out our guide on how to complete the Proving Grounds quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, assuming that you haven’t already done so before you grabbed Frida!
