With Update 9.2, some interesting balancing changes have been brought to Anime Champions Simulator. While players wait for the much-awaited Update 10, they can now play around with Quirks that have been changed around quite a bit.
Many players had been complaining that quirks were simply way too one-sided. With these changes, the effectiveness of Quirks has also been affected.
In particular, the Mythic Quirks are a subject of much interest, and these are Quirks that players tend to focus on. So, we have prepared a Best Quirks Tier List, that ranks them after the new update.
Best Quirks Tier List for Update 9.2
There is a total of 9 Mythic Quirks that we will be examining in this Tier List. The rankings can also help you understand which Quirks you should be aiming for when rolling.
S+ Tier
- Boxer is by far the best Quirk in the game, providing so many boosts to Damage, ATK and Crit. It does have a drawback of less Ability Damage, but that is pretty much irrelevant. After all, you want to pair it with your Warrior Affix, which disables Ultimate, so you do not need it.
- You can also pair it with Celestial and Titan, making it even better.
S Tier
- Titan is quite similar to Boxer but just a little bit lower in terms of the boosts you get. However, you are still getting increased DMG and Crit which is powerful. It does have the drawback of less Ability Damage, but again this does not matter as you will be pairing it with Warrior Affix.
- Additionally, by pairing it with Titan, you can ensure the decreased ATK Speed does not become a disadvantage.
- If you’re going for a Mage build, Black Hole can be extremely strong. It boosts your Ability Damage, Charge and Crit by a very large amount, which is what a Mage will depend on. The decreased Punch DMG won’t be an issue as you are a Mage, so it won’t be an issue.
- Another great Quirk for a Mage user is Crimson Demon, providing a whopping 900% Ability Damage. The decreased Ability Charge can be an issue, but the fact that you are getting such a high damage can be worth it.
- You can combine this build with Black Hole to get the best of both worlds as a Mage.
- Bosses do not stand a chance when you have the Celestial Quirk equipped. This Quirk is generally used to combine with other Quirks for when you are fighting Bosses, providing a very high 80% Boss DMG with additional Crit.
A Tier
- You can think of Giant as the little brother of Titan. It provides all the boosts that Titan does but lesser in percentage. You gain lesser boosts but also get a lesser drawback with -20% ATK Speed compared to the -40% ATK Speed of Titan.
- Assassin also is a mini version of another Quirk, which is the Celestial Quirk. You are basically getting lesser Boss DMG and Crit, but get the addition of +20% ATK Speed. It is a great Quirk to have if you are going to face Bosses and can be combined with another that suits your style.
- Archmage can be considered an inferior version of a combination of Black Hole and Crimson Demon. It doesn’t really triumph over any of them but provides a great balance of boosts for a Mage. There is also no real drawback to it as well, making it a good backup option for Mages.
B Tier
- You get the best Crit bonuses with Sniper, but that is ultimately useless in the current state of the game. It definitely needs some additional Crit Damage to be more competitive, especially since Crit does not provide enough by itself.
- You aren’t really getting any other advantages, so Sniper is the worst Quirk currently.
That’s everything you need to know about the Best Quirks Tier List after Update 9.2. Some interesting balance changes that have been brought to help change things up a bit after the requests from the community.
