Anime Defenders just got another huge update recently, and with that comes a lot of balance changes and new units to collect. Because of all the regular updates, trade values can change a lot, with newer stuff generally being more expensive than the rest. In this guide, we will show you how to maximize your gains through trading in the latest patch!
Best Trading Guide in Update 4 Part 2
Before we get into a few slightly more detailed tips, let’s talk about the main rule when it comes to making a profit through trading: buying low and selling high. It may sound obvious now, but a lot of players fail to realize how effective this actually is.
It all boils down to being patient with your sell offers. First, you want to look around and check the prices that people are offering for certain units that you are interested in. Once you have a general idea of what they are worth, buy the cheapest ones available.
Once you have done that, you can then flip it for a higher price. For example, if you buy something worth 500k, you can easily profit off it by selling it for around 600k immediately after. Your mileage may vary depending on how much demand the unit has.
If you are willing to spend a few resources on a unit you just purchased, consider rerolling it so that it becomes a little more desirable to other players.
For instance, let’s say you buy a The Gamer unit that has very “meh” stats. If you buy it at a decently low price, you can then reroll it until it has somewhat better stats than before, and you can then further justify selling it for more than the original price.
Checking the RAP Charts & More
One thing you can do to check unit prices is by taking a quick look at the RAP Charts. This will let you check every unit in the game and see what prices they are usually being sold at.
This is not a definitive way of checking the price for a unit as it will rise and fall very sporadically, but it is a nice starting point if you are completely new to trading.
To get a more updated price check on any specific unit, your best bet will be to join the official Discord server of the game and check the relevant chat channels for information (or you can ask yourself too).
Of course, this is still all purely subjective, and people may undervalue or overvalue units there as well. If you want a hassle-free way of checking prices, just go to the trading area and look at people’s booths. You won’t need to use a different app, at least.
You have to keep in mind that not everyone is on Discord, so you are going to find that the people in the game itself might be more representative of the trading community overall.
If you really want to min-max trading as a whole, check all of the above whenever you plan on selling or flipping a unit. You could also opt for direct trades instead, as this would let you smooth talk your way into netting a great deal.
And that is pretty much everything you need to know to get up to speed with how you should be trading in this game. While you are here, consider taking a look at our Anime Defenders update 4.5 best units tier list to see which units are currently valued by the community.
