Complete Hall of Mirrors Guide + Tips & Tricks (Update 3)
With Update 3, comes a lot of new content including a new Hall of Mirrors Game mode. You’ll want to use this mode if you’re looking to get wishes for free in the game. It’s a long road to grind though so you better know what you’re doing! Here are some tips on how to play this new mode.
Hall Of Mirrors Mechanics
The Hall of Mirrors game mode lets you start with the easiest difficulty first. There are 4 difficulties in total, and you’ll need to finish easy first to play Normal and so on. The hardest difficulty is Nightmare and if you finish it, you’ll have a small chance of getting a wish!
This is not a mode that you can easily solo and that’s why you can play it with up to 10 players. At higher difficulties, you will need 10 people to clear it because going lower can make it impossibly hard. Make sure to communicate well with your team while playing!
When you start the game, you’ll see two counters at the top of the screen. The first one is the mob counter which shows how many mobs are left on the map.
The second counter is the Phase counter, and it shows you which phase you’re in right now. Each phase is exactly 2 minutes and there are a total of 15 phases totaling 30 minutes. So, if you’re going to grind this game mode then keep in mind that it’ll be a long one!
At the start of the game, you’ll only have one path where enemies will appear. Every Phase after that will add another path for you and your team to defend against. So, as the game goes by, it gets more difficult as you’ll need to defend against multiple paths!
At the end of Phase 15, you’ll need to defeat all the mobs for the game to be completed. Once that’s done, you’ll be rewarded with items depending on the difficulty!
Make Use Of Farms
Now that you know how the game mode works, here are some tips to get you started. First is that Farm units are important in this game mode. At the start, it’s best to have only a couple of players put down towers for defenses.
While they’re doing that, the rest of the players should focus on placing their farm towers and get as much cash as possible. Make sure to place as many as you can and then keep on upgrading them to the maximum. Once they’re maxed out, start placing units normally.
Placement Is Key
Once you have your farms up, there should be multiple paths to defend against. Placing your units in the right area is crucial since you’ll need to cover a lot of places. Make sure that you place your units, so that they cover at least two paths to maximize your defenses like the one shown below. In some games, you can even defend against 3 or even 4 paths just as long as you place your units right!
Use AOE and Hybrid Units
When it comes to units, it’s best to have both Hybrid units and ones with great AOE. Hybrid units is always great to have since you don’t have to worry about flying enemies.
When it comes to units that have great AOE it makes it so you can defend multiple paths easier. With the right character, you can easily defend 4 paths with one tower as shown below. Make sure to place them right!
With those tips, you’re ready to play Hall of Mirrors in Anime Defenders. Now, go out there and try it out yourself! Do you want to do raids in the game? Check out our Best Way To Solo Raids Guide for more details!
