Update 13 for Anime Guardians has recently just dropped on Roblox which brings along the Summer Event alongside brand new units. The unit that stands out the most is easily Wang Ling because of his miniscule 0.0045% drop chance. Since he’s so difficult to obtain, many of you may be wondering whether he’s worth getting or not. So, in this guide, we’ll be looking at a showcase of him to see whether he lives up to it. Additionally, we’ll also show you a great way that you can use to farm the Summer currency while being AFK. WANGLING Showcase & Summer Event AFK Guide
Wang Ling has a 0.0045% chance to drop in Anime Guardians via the Summer Event. For that, you will need to farm as much Summer currency you can get your hands on so that you can keep rolling for him.
At the end of this guide, we’ll show you a method that you can use to farm Summer currency with minimal effort. You can do it even if you don’t have the best units in the game and are just starting out.
Wang Ling Showcase
Starting off, let’s take a look at Wang Ling’s passives in Anime Guardians. Here are the following two passives you get with him:
- Fully Universal
- At the final upgrade, Wang Ling sacrifices 10% of his Base HP (one time) to gain the following:
- +100% Damage
- +10% Range
- -10% Cooldown.
- At the final upgrade, Wang Ling sacrifices 10% of his Base HP (one time) to gain the following:
- Limitless Universal
- At the final upgrade, each attack deals greater damage to low HP enemies.
- For every 1% of enemy HP lost, Wang Ling’s attack gains +1% bonus damage.

- Upgrade 6 – 26000

- Upgrade 8 – 30875
- Upgrade 9 – 32500
- Upgrade 10 – 33800
- Upgrade 11 – 35100
- Upgrade 12 (MAX)- 39000
As you upgrade him, his AoE range increases until he gets a full AoE circle that covers a huge area. He also has excellent DPS which is further increased when you reach the final upgrade due to his passive.
So, you’ll want to upgrade Wang Ling to the max as fast as possible.
Ability Showcase
Starting off, we have the attack animation that Wang Ling uses. As you can see, it is really well done, with a large explosion that covers a huge AoE range.
Of course, this range will depend on how much you have upgraded him.
Next, we have the Ultimate called Create Universe, with a cooldown of 240 seconds. On activation, the ability causes a domain like effect to cover the entire map. Here is a breakdown of what the ultimate ability does:
- Only enemies hit by this ability will be imprisoned forever
- Boss type enemies and normal enemies are stunned for 60 seconds and are returned to the starting point.
During the ultimate, Wang Ling will still be able to use his attacks but they will have a different visual effect.
Summer Event AFK Method
If you’re trying to get your hands on Wang Ling in Anime Guardians, you’ll need to go through the Summer Beach event and get the Beach Ball currency. The Summer Beach mode is an infinite mode so you can keep going as long as you want to maximize your rewards.
However, there is a way in which you can also get the rewards AFK.
Even if you fail the Summer Beach event and kill no enemies, you will still be able to get a decent amount of reward. So, all you need is a retry macro and the mode will keep repeating. Regardless of whether you fail a lot or not, you will still get currency.
Alternatively, you can just manually hit retry every time it ends as usually it takes only 3 minutes.
