Now that Attack on Titan: Revolution has gotten its first major content update, fans of the game are spoiled for new stuff as there have been a lot of changes and additions that they can explore. Among these new additions is the Attack Raid, which involves an iconic character from the series that inspired this game. Here is a quick guide on how you can participate in it and what rewards await you!

Complete Attack Raid Guide

The new Attack raid is actually really simple and straightforward. Basically, you will start off defending Eren from waves of titans, which should not really be an issue for you at this point since you’re already attempting raids.

For the first phase, just kill all the titans as you normally would in regular missions. Throughout this stage of the raid, Eren’s health bar will be at the top of the screen. If this reaches zero, you will go into a retreat phase and receive consolation prizes at the end, but we don’t want that.

Just try your best to work with your team and take out any titans coming after Eren. With a group of competent players, you should be able to clear this part of the raid without any issues.

Raid Phase 2 – Fighting Eren Himself

After some time, a cutscene will play, and it ends with Eren screeching at your team. Once this happens, phase 2 of the raid will begin, and your new objective is to defeat Eren. This is a tough fight, despite the recent nerfs that made it slightly easier, so don’t be careless.

It should be noted that regular titans will still be running around during this fight. Coordinate with your team so that you can split up and deal with the adds while a few people continue to fight Eren at the same time.

For Eren himself, the ideal strategy for the average player is to play a bit passively and wait for openings to strike him in the nape, which will deal significantly more damage.

A weak point will also be marked with a red skull icon, and this can appear at different parts of his body. Aim for this spot to deal tons of damage to Eren. Having a powerful ODM build is ideal, unless you are a shifter.

If you managed to score a titan serum before the update came out, you can actually take advantage of the fact that shifting is allowed in the raid. Supposedly, this trivializes the fight, especially if there are several of you in the team.

Finally, avoid getting grabbed by Eren. He can one shot you if you are unlucky, though you do get a small chance of escaping as long as you have a fast reaction time.

Attack Raid Rewards

A successful Attack Raid attempt will actually net you two different chests, though one of them requires an Emperor’s Key to open. There are many ways to acquire them, including getting it as a drop from the lesser chest reward.

Both of them have a similar drop table. The main difference is that the Emperor’s Chest has a much higher chance of dropping rare stuff, which makes getting keys worth it.

Potential rewards include various mythical rarity items and perks, as well as the coveted attack titan serum that was previously something you would get from regular missions. Legendary perks and attack shards are also relatively common here.

It should be noted that the best rewards normally have a less than 1% drop rate. Check out our guide on the best ways to increase your luck in Attack on Titan Revolution to help boost the drop chance by just a bit.

You could also try to activate modifiers for the raid. Normally, these would grant you bonus XP and money, but for raids, they only increase your luck, which is actually better for this specific game mode.

Our recommendations for experienced players include activating the Oddball modifier. This will increase the stats of every titan, but you will gain a whopping 12.5% bonus luck. The extra stats shouldn’t be an issue for good players.

Fog, Chronic Injuries, and Injury Prone are some okay choices too if you really want to maximize your luck. Don’t bother with No Perks, No Skills, or No Talents, as you will want them all active to be more efficient with your clear times.

And that sums up everything you will ever need to know about the new Attack Raid activity, and we are pretty sure that more of these will be coming in the future.
