Attack on Titan Revolution just got its first huge major update recently, and with that came some harder content in the form of a new raid that players can farm for rare rewards. Because of this, you will need to start upgrading your gear in order to keep up with the difficulty, and in this guide, we will be giving you a few tips on how to get the money needed to do so as quickly as possible.
Fastest Way to Upgrade ODM Gear
Simply put, if you want to upgrade your ODM gear, you’re going to need a ton of gold. As simple as that sounds, there are ways to speed up the process and get so much money that you’ll be drowning in it even after your upgrades.
Playing missions is the most obvious way to do this, but in order to increase your gains, you will want to use modifiers and a high difficulty level. With the latter, your base gold reward will be higher and more worth the time.
Modifiers, on the other hand, will increase both gold and XP gains for the mission. This is down to personal preference, but here are some recommended choices that you shouldn’t have zero issues with as a more experienced player:
- Oddball – 25% bonus gold and XP but each titan in the mission has a 50% stat bonus. Only turn on if you are very confident in your titan killing skills.
- Nightmare – 20% bonus gold and XP but there is a chance that more or only abnormals and crawlers spawn in the map.
- Injury Prone – 10% bonus gold and XP but you will have a higher chance of sustaining an injury.
- Chronic Injuries – 10% bonus gold and XP but you might not be able to heal injuries.
- Fog – 7.5% bonus gold and XP but it lowers your draw distance. This one is safe to use in even the hardest difficulties, as it doesn’t have too severe of an effect.
Raiding For Money
Raids, specifically the Attack Titan one (which is currently the only raid in the game) is also a great way to stack up gold. With the max difficulty, you can get almost 100k gold for each win, alongside a whole bunch of potentially good loot.

Just like normal missions, modifiers will greatly increase your earnings after a raid. At the very least, turn on Fog as it is a free small bonus with no real disadvantage. Just don’t bother with the ones that restrict you, such as No Perks.
If you already have a titan serum and can shift, this should be incredibly easy. If not, find a friend who is as shifter so that your raid attempts will go by much faster.
Buying Temporary Gold Boosters
If you have a lot of gems, you can go to the Market and buy a 2x Gold Boost buff with different time intervals. Your choices are the following:
- 30 minute 2x Gold Boost – 4,499 Gems
- 1 hour 2x Gold Boost – 7,999 Gems
- 2 hour 2x Gold boost – 13,999 Gems
If you are going to be farming money for your ODM upgrades for a single long session, consider getting one of these boosts depending on how much time you are going to spend playing.
Those who need more Gems, if you’re feeling particularly lucky, consider getting one of the aura chests at the Market. If you get a good one, you can sell it back for a huge profit, which will typically be enough for three hours worth of gold boosts.
This is a bit of a gamble though, but if you do get lucky, a single aura can easily net you a profit of almost 20,000 Gems. An example of such an aura is the Azure Flames one, which sells for 22,500 Gems.
Straight Up Just Buying Gold
If you have a lot of Robux, you could always just buy gold at the Market. Whales can simply spend a couple thousand Robux to buy millions worth of gold and instantly get those ODM upgrades with no effort.
We don’t really recommend going down this path unless you really have a lot of disposable income. Regardless, it is an option, and it’s by far the fastest one. A single pack of 500,000 gold comes at a “discounted” rate of 1,999 Robux per transaction.
