AOT Revolution: How To Prepare For Update 1 Guide

AOT Revolution has a new Update 1 coming up that will add a range of additional features to the game. As a result, many players are already anticipating everything that’s on the way. However, you might want to make certain preparations so that you can start off strong when the new update rolls out.

But what are the steps that you can undertake to prepare for the new update? Not to worry, we have you sorted out. In this guide, we will show you multiple things you can do so that you can benefit most from Update 1. Let’s get into it!

How To Prepare For Update 1 Guide

Update 1 for AOT Revolution has quite a bit coming up – which includes new Artifacts and more. If you aren’t aware of everything coming up, we recommend you familiarize yourself with it first. It’ll give you all the context you need for this update.

It’s all laid out in our AOT Revolution Update 1 News and Info article.With that said, let’s turn our attention to the preparations you need to make for Update 1. Here is everything you’ll want to do in advance before Update 1 rolls out in AOT Revolution:

1. Get all the currently available Artifacts.
2. Stack up on Gems to prepare for the new Raid Mode.
3. Max out your Prestige for Boost Modifiers.
4. Upgrade certain Perks for the best stats.
5. Unlock all the skins as they will increase in value later.

Obtain Currently Available Artifacts

Starting off, you might want to get the Artifacts that are currently available in AOT Revolution. There are a few that you can get, and it doesn’t hurt to get all of them in case you might need them later on. 

After all, it is possible they might not be available in the next update since we’re getting new Achievements.

However, there are certain Artifacts that give better buffs than the rest. Here are the Artifacts that you should focus on:

• Crown (Legendary)
  • +7.5% Luck Boost
• Handkerchief (Epic)
  • +7.5% XP Boost

Stack Up On Gems

Another thing you will want to do when preparing for Update 1 is stacking up on gems in AOT Revolution. We cannot stress how important this part will be when the update finally rolls in – particularly because of the Raids Mode.

This is because you will need Gems to purchase Keys that will be needed to open Raid Chests. The only other way to get keys will be through Daily Quests and you’ll only be able to get 3 keys per day that way.

To get the additional keys, you will need to stack up Gems. Here are some easy ways in which you can obtain a lot of gems in AOT Revolution:

• Complete missions
• Sell Attires
• Sell Auras

Additionally, make sure that you do not spend these Gems until Update 1 arrives!

Max Out Your Prestige

The next thing you want to do in preparation for Update 1 is to max out your prestige. Maxing out your prestige will give you access to Memory Slots and additional Boost Modifiers. You’ll need these additional buffs if you want to have the most success with the Raid Mode – especially at the Aberrant difficulty. 

Keep in mind that your Perk Upgrade progress will get reset by doing a prestige. So, we recommend that you complete the prestige process before upgrading your perks. We’ve mentioned how you should upgrade certain perks later in this guide.

In particular, there are three Memories that you’ll want to try and get. They will give you the most success once Update 1 and Raid Mode rolls out in AOT Revolution. 

Here are the three Memories you want for your Prestige:

• Aegisurge (Defense)
  • Gain a temporary Shield that is worth 15% of your Max HP after you kill a Titan for 20 seconds.
  • 2 Stars Memory.
• Lifefeed (Support)
  • Killing a Titan will restore 3% of your HP.
  • 2 Stars Memory.
• Stalwart (Offense)
  • Every Blade Segment that breaks will increase your overall Blade Durability by 3%.
  • 2 Stars Memory.

Obtain And Enhance Some Powerful Perks

Since you want to be as powerful as possible for Update 1, we also recommend that you get some powerful Perks. After all, these Perks will help you kill Titans much faster and give you a better experience with the Raid Mode.

Additionally, you will also want to Enhance these Perks so that you can get the most out of them. The Perks that we will be looking at here will have all their stats maxed out.

Here are the Perks that we recommend you get before Update 1 comes in:

• Carnifex (Offense)
  • It is a Legendary Perk
  • Blade hits can strike 4 more limbs at once
  • It will help you cut down Titans much faster
  • You can cut multiple limbs and hit the nape at the same time with this.
• Unparalleled Strength (Offense)
  • It is a Legendary Perk
  • ODM Damage increases by 25%
  • A large damage boost that will help you kill Titans faster
• Peerless Constitution (Defense)
  • It is a Legendary Perk
  • Damage Reduction increases by 20%
  • Injury Chances decreases by 25%
  • This Perk will increase your Survivability by a lot.
• Gear Master (Support)
  • It is a Legendary Perk
  • ODM Speed increases by 12.5%
  • ODM Control increases by 15%
  • You can move faster than the speed at which Titans grab you, ensuring your survival in Raids.

Try To Get All The Skins

Lastly, you’ll want to get a hold of all the skins that you can get in AOT Revolution. This is because after Update 1, and later updates, these skins’ value will increase. After all, these were the first ever skins added to the game.

Chances are, as the game becomes popular, more players will join the game and want to get their hands on them. You will be able to sell these skins for a lot potentially.

A great way to get these skins is by going to the Market. Here, you’ll see a variety of Chests that you can purchase with Gems which can give you skins. You’ll basically be rolling your luck with these Chests to get high Rarity skins.

We recommend that you get the Anime All Stars Chest, as this will provide you the most value. However, you can go for the other Chests too.

Keep in mind that purchasing these Chests will cost Gems. Since your goal is to preserve your Gems, this might clash with that goal. So, we recommend that you only open enough Chests if you think you have enough Gems, or feel like skins are a bigger priority.

Who knows, these old skins could later prove to be very valuable in the future!
