Full End Game Guide

After maxing out your super class, the only thing left to do is maxing out your artifacts and going for a sub class. You can farm these artifacts by defeating the end game bosses. Here I will discuss boss attacks and drops so you can farm them more efficiently. Additionally, I will also be talk about what sub classes do for your end game. Without further ado, here are all the things that you can do in the end game.

Yar’thul

A dragon of extreme proportions. Dragons are already rare in Astora, but Yar’thul controls heat and fire beyond imagination. Decades of living in the desert, the active volcano Mount Thul was created where he resides. Yar’thul is one of the late game bosses in the game. If you want to defeat it, you’ll have to know all its movesets.

Attacks

  • Inferno: An unavoidable attack that deals damage to all party members. The damage increases each round so you should try to kill Yar’thul as quick as possible.
  • Fire Claw: Yar’thul’s basic attack that targets one person. It can’t be dodged unless you have enough speed, but it can be blocked. Blocking or being hit by this attack inflicts 3 stacks of the Burn debuff. You can reduce the damage from this attack by blocking it.
  • Magma Pillar: Yar’thul slams his claw down, creating a magma pillar. Anyone who physically attacks him while the pillar is up takes damage, 2 stacks of the Inferno debuff, and 5 stacks of the Burn debuff. The magma pillar lasts for 3 rounds. You should avoid physically attacking Yar’thul while the magma pillar is up.
  • Blaze Core: Yar’thul absorbs half of the party’s Inferno stacks and heals himself for 50 to 450 health. You should try to keep Yar’thul’s Inferno stacks low so he doesn’t heal just as much.
  • Magma Beam: Yar’thul charges up for a round and then shoots a fire beam at a target. This attack is unblockable and undodgeable, and it inflicts 4 stacks of Burn on the target. The beam also deals AoE damage around the target. You should guard against this attack or try to move out of the way of the beam.
  • Blaze Eruption: Yar’thul slams both claws down, causing geysers of fire to erupt underneath the party members. This attack only targets those that are burning, but if no one is burning, it will target a random party member. The attack is unblockable and undodgeable, and it inflicts 3 stacks of Inferno on the target. You should try to avoid getting burned so that he does not use this attack on you.
  • Hellfire: Yar’thul raises his head and fires a massive breath of fire that hits all targets. This attack is unblockable and undodgeable, and it inflicts 9 stacks of Burn on each target over the course of 3 hits. You should guard against this attack or try to move out of the way of the fire breath.
  • Armageddon: When Yar’thul is below half health and has 3 energy, he will create a massive flaming meteor that hits all targets. This attack has no windup, so it is impossible to dodge. You can either guard the attack or inflict the Weaken status effect on Yar’thul to reduce the damage.

Thorian, The Rotten

The monstrosity of the Deeproot Canopy. Thorian used to be an animal a long time ago, but with the curse it gained from the corruption nobody knows what it used to be. The curse eats away all life, consuming the souls and bodies of anyone afflicted by it. Currently, Thorian is the strongest end-game boss in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about the boss.

Attacks

  • Cursed Wave: Thorian sends out a wave of cursed energy. If the targeted player doesn’t dodge, it will hit them and their two adjacent teammates. The wave deals about 8 damage per Plague stack.
  • Warped Crush: Thorian slams his hand on the targeted player. If the player doesn’t dodge, it will hit them and their two adjacent teammates.
  • Hexed Burst: Thorian attacks everyone in the fight. There is a high chance that he will apply the hexed debuff.
  • Plague Rapture: Thorian sends out plague crystals. Each crystal deals about 7.2 damage. The number of crystals that hit a player scale with the player’s number of Plague stacks.
  • Overflowing Curse: Thorian sends out a massive fog of cursed energy. It directly attacks the player’s soul. The player must defend against projectiles coming from the left, top, and right to prevent them from reaching their soul. If the player fails to defend, they will gain one stack of the plague debuff.

Artifact Drops

After defeating the end-game bosses, there are chances of them dropping powerful artifacts. Some of these artifacts can also be bought from the mysterious man. Here’s a guide on how to find the Mysterious Man in Arcane Lineage and here’s a list of all the acquirable artifacts.

  • Narthana’s Sigil – Ankh shaped metallic object, when worn or used all your allies are healed after healing anyone with a set amount.
  • Reality Watch – a watch that saves your point in time for 3 turns, after which time reverts and your health and energy goes back.
  • Stellion Core – brilliant white gem that gives a boost on all of your stats if you are above 95% health.
  • Dark Sigil – dark cloud-like cosmetic, deals 15% of the enemies’ max hp when you deal status effects to them for 6 times.
  • Phoenix Tear – you can buy this from the Mysterious Man. The artifact looks like an orange flaming tear, revives you when used.
  • Resplendant Essence – an everchanging clam flame, it seems to represent the color of a soul. Also bough from the mysterious man, unlocks a second character slot upon using.

Sub Classes

Besides the main classes in the game, there are also sub-classes that you can take after maxing out your super class. Currently, you can choose from 3 subclasses, which are Alchemist, Beastmaster and Musician.

The subclasses give bonus abilities that make your character much more powerful. I recommend not taking the Beastmaster as it’s the weakest subclass at the moment, but you can choose from the other two.

Alchemist

Dangerous Mixture (Active): Throw a potion at an enemy that cannot be dodged. The potion applies 3 turns of random stat buffs.

Iron Gut (Passive): Reduce the amount of toxicity you suffer from potions you drink in battle. This means you can now drink 2 health potions instead of 1.

Create Cauldron (Passive): Gain the ability to spawn a cauldron at any location. This cauldron can be used to brew potions.

Certified (Passive): Gain the ability to sell ingredients and potions to apothecaries for money.

Beastmaster

Mark (Active): Strike an enemy with a piece of your soul. If the attack kills the enemy, it will be added to your bestiary, the attack cannot be blocked or dodged.

Sneak (Passive): Gain a tool called “sneak”. When used, you crouch down and avoid encounters. However, you will take damage over time and move slowly. To cancel sneak, use the tool again.

Bestiary (Passive): Gain a tool called “bestiary”. When used, it opens your bestiary and displays information about any enemy you have killed with Mark. Enemies killed with Mark will have better drop rates. To close the bestiary, use the tool again.

Musician

Latir Minor (Active): Using your magic, you strum a violin, creating a resonance that empowers your allies for 4 turns.

Rebanar Major (Active): Using your magic, you produce a trumpet and release a powerful reverberation that slices your enemies. This attack inflicts 4 turns of Vulnerable and 3 turns of Blindness on all enemies.

Curar Forte (Passive): You use about 3% of your total health to heal your allies for 6% of their health.

That wraps up everything you need to know about the End Game in Arcane Lineage.
