Metal in Ark Survival Evolver might just be one of the most important resources that you can get. It is used for survival and progression in the game which is why you will need to know what are the best ways to farm it. In this guide, we will be showing you the best and top 5 ways of how you are able to Farm Metal in Ark Survival Evolved. Let’s get started.

Best Ways To Farm Metal – Ark Survival Evolved

Number 5 – Archie and Angie Method

Source – The Outcasts

This method is basically known by everyone on Ark Survival Evolved. This is a very efficient way of getting metal as well as getting you a lot of metal that you can use for a long period of time. This is good for solo players and team play alike.

All you will need is an Argentevis and an Ankylosaurus. These dinosaurs are very easy to tame early on. You will pick up the Anky with the other dinosaur and then drop him next to metal ores. You will get the Anky to destroy all sorts of metals while you go around collecting them.

You can also mount them up to strike the metals with their tails. This way you are also collecting metal.

Number 4 – Carquinos and Anky Method

Source – The Outcasts

This time you will want to get this spider type creature, first, you will need to tame it of course.

Then once you have it you will go into the deepest of caves where you know that there are metals inside. Pick up the Anky as you did before, and bring it down to the main floor. While here you will control and Ankylosaurus and crash metal ore. Then just pick them up.

Number 3 – Magmasaur Method

Source – The Outcasts

For this method, all you’ll have to do is tame and have a Magmasaurus. This again will need to be done on Abberation for the best metal farming available. To get a Magmasaur you will need to find an egg on different maps inside a lava pit. Then of course you will need to raise them.

Once you have one available,e you will go next to metal ores and simply strike them. They can harvest a ton of metal. Even one hit of theirs can result in a lot of metal just for you. You will also need an FoB base for this to work as well as storage. Just farm with your Magmasaur and then run back to the storage. Simple.

Number 2 – Magmasaurus and Skiff Method

Source – The Outcasts

This requires 2 people as it is very annoying one to do with only one person. You will want to load the Magmasaurus on the Hover Shift up the ramp. Now you will be able to actually fly up with the flying structure under you.

You can control the Magmasaurus while the other player controls the Hover Shift. Go up high into the cave ceilings and harvest all of the metal that you’ll see.

Number 1 – Mining Drill

Source – The Outcasts

This method will require that you have a Mining Drill as well as a Deinonychus dinosaur. You will also need a Glow Pad but that is expected when you’re on aberration. This way you won’t get monsters to go chasing you down while you’re mining. Also, make sure to take some gasoline to power the drill.

Now simply run around the Metal Ores with your Deinonychus and harvest them all. It doesn’t require a lot like the other methods, it’s simple, fast, and very effective. That is why is number 1 on our list. This will easily get you the most metal on average.
