Arknights is a mobile gacha game that has been around for a couple of years now. Like most gacha games, it features anime characters that are all incredibly attractive and dressed in a manner that will make you wonder if they’re really ready for war. One such character has arrived by the name of Ines.

Since last month, many are building her in many different ways to see if she’s worth it, but I’m not here for that. In this guide, I will show you everything you need to know about Ines and what she does, letting you decide if she’s worth spending money on.

Ines Complete Guide

Ines is an Agent archetype, which is a branch of the Vanguard class. If you’ve played enough Arknights, you should know that the Vanguard class is most notably known for having a reduced redeployment time of 35 seconds. Which makes them very useful in certain situations that require fast redeployment of characters.

Agents are not really good when it comes to being tanks, as they possess lower HP and DEF compared to other branches of Vanguards. But what they lack in HP and DEF, they make up for in ATK, and boy does Ines really bring the damage when used.

Elite Talents

Elite Talent #1 Shadow Weaver

Starting off with Ines’ Elite Talents, she has an E1 Talent called Shadow Weaver. Now, what this does is that Ines’ attacks will be able to inflict Bind on an enemy for several seconds while triggering Steal on the affected enemy.

However, this only happens on the very first attack and does not stack on the same enemy.

As Ines attacks an enemy with the Shadow Weaver talent, Ines will be able to Steal ATK from enemies, dealing more damage after the first hit while making the affected enemy have reduced damage until they either die or Ines is removed from the field.

Elite Talent #2 Shadow Sentry

Ines’ second Elite Talent is called Shadow Sentry, which is a very helpful talent to have. The reason why is because Shadow Sentry is a passive ability that once placed on the field, invisible enemies within a 3-tile range in front of enemies will be revealed and will be slowed down.

This is mostly useful if Ines is located somewhere near the spawn point of the enemy, but it is still very good even if Ines is located anywhere else, as long as she can see them.

Skills

Skill #1 Shadow Raid

Moving on to skills, we have the Shadow Raid skill. This ability auto triggers by itself whenever it is fully charged, so you don’t really need to keep an eye on this one.

But once it’s on, Ines’ attacks within the next 3 seconds will generate 2 DP and deal damage over time to one singular enemy.

However, bear in mind that this does not stack, but the effects do get refreshed when hitting the same enemy.

Skill #2 Murky Night

Her second skill, Murky Night, requires you to actually trigger the skill. Once pressed, Ines will enter a boosted state that fully improves her kit.

Her attack range will increase to a whopping 2×3 tiles, on top of a 1-tile extension in front of her. Not only that, but her ATK will increase exponentially, and each hit will generate 1 DP.

Additionally, her Steal comes back as well, but heavily improved. Hitting the same enemy will not only steal their ATK, but also their ASPD.

As if things can’t get any better, Ines also becomes invisible with the Invisibility state, making her unable to be attacked by enemies unless she has to block a target.

Skill #3 Solitary Return

Her last skill, Solitary Return, is a great skill that can deal massive damage. When using Solitary Return, Ines’ deployment will change.

Instead of being placed on the field, she will instead leave a Shadow Sentry behind and retreat. This may confuse you, but the next part will make sense as to why it does a lot of damage.

When you deploy Ines for real this time, without using Solitary Return, the Shadow Sentry will turn into a red missile and fly towards Ines, dealing a lot of damage to anything or anyone that stands in its way.

Not only does it deal damage, but it also grants Ines a massive ATK buff for several seconds.
