You are going to find a lot of gear chests around the map in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Finding all of them will be essential for you, as you will find good quality items in each one of them. One of the gear chests you are going to find will be located inside Al-Jahiz’s house in Round City.
Finding this gear chest will require you to find a way to get inside the house. In this guide, we will explain that way to you and show you the Al-Jahiz house gear chest location in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Al-Jahiz House Gear Chest Location
Al-Jahiz’s house is located on the west side of Round City. It is not far from the center of the Green Dome building.
You can also use the eagle’s vision to locate the exact location of the gear chest and make it easier to find for yourself.
Once you get there, you are going to need to find a way to get inside Al-Jahiz’s house. You are going to see that you cannot simply get inside the house by walking inside.
You will need to solve a simple puzzle to do that. Therefore, you will have to use the way from another building to get to the roof of Al-Jahiz’s house.
To do that, climb the stairs of the building near the house. You are going to see two platforms and a bunch of flammable vases there.
You will need to get one of those vases, carry it to the roof of Al-Jahiz’s house, and throw it at a certain point on the roof to break it open.
Make sure to correctly align the platforms before taking the vase.
Push the platform on the right to a little bit to the right side. You are going to be able to get on top of that by jumping on the flower pot if you do that. Then, go to the flammable vases and take one of them.
Use the platforms to get to the top of the roof. As we mentioned, jump on the flower pot first and then get to the platforms. There, you will see a rope connecting two buildings on your left.
Use the rope to get across. You will now be on the roof of Al-Jahiz’s house. You should then throw the vase at the breakable point in front of you. Check the image below to see how it looks like.
After throwing the vase, wait for a couple of seconds before jumping below. You will have to wait for the flames to go out on their own. When it happens, jump down to get inside the house.
Once inside the house, your codex will be updated as well. Now, you need to use the stairs to get to the bottom floor. There, you will see the gear chest in the right corner of the room.
