There are a lot of Obelisk Rune puzzles that puzzle enjoyers can do in the newest update in Genshin Impact.
One such puzzle that offers a bit of a unique challenge to the player is the Atmospheric Vortex puzzle. What makes this so unique is that the treasure chest is stuck in the middle of a wind vortex (not a huge one, just a small one).
In order to get it, you will have to find a way to dispel the vortex, then do the Obelisk Rune puzzle. In this guide, we will be showing you how to do both.
Genshin Impact – Atmospheric Vortex Weathered Obelisk Rune Puzzle
Dispel the Atmospheric Vortex
When you try to approach the vortex, you will be pushed back and a prompt will appear, saying “Liloupar doesn’t have enough Jinni’s Might to dispel this Atmospheric Vortex yet”.
To remedy that, we will need to find a way to power up Liloupar.
From the cliff, jump off and glide your way down to this structure with an open hole in the corner.
Inside, you will find something that can give Liloupar the power to dispel the vortex for good. Interact with it and go back to the vortex.
Once back, just approach the vortex. You will be pushed back, but the vortex will soon disappear, leaving you to complete the Obelisk Rune puzzle.
Obelisk Rune Puzzle
With the vortex gone, all that’s left is to complete the Obelisk Rune puzzle, which is actually very simple.
Each Obelisk will have a rune inscribed on them, and behind each Obelisk, there will be another Obelisk with a rune inscribed on them.
You can only interact with the Obelisks that are close to the chests, meaning that you will have to match the runes that are on the Obelisks behind them.
To do that, just hit them until the runes match, then you will eventually open the chest once all 4 are matched with the runes behind them.
