Unlike some of the other treasure maps in Dawnshore of Avowed, this one doesn’t just fall into your lap. To even get a chance at it, you’ll need to complete the Strangleroot mission first. Once that’s done, head over to Sanza’s Emporium in Paradis’ Hightown Market—this is where the map should be available for 100 Gold.
And here’s where Avowed throws a curveball: sometimes, Sanza just… doesn’t have it. No explanation, no warning—just bad luck. But don’t worry! Even if the map never appears in stock, the treasure still exists in the game world, and you can claim it without ever holding the parchment (the map).
Solving the Woedica’s Inheritance Treasure Map
So where does the map lead? The sketch shows a path tucked between a fortress wall and a natural rock wall, which immediately narrows the location down to Paradis in Dawnshore—the only place with towering, intact walls. But to match the perspective, you’ll need to be on the eastern side of the city.
- Start at God’s Gate fast travel point.
- Walk north under the arch and take a left.
- Approach the ravine separating you from Paradis’ walls.
- Find the dirt path leading into a small, seemingly dead-end nook.
- Look for foliage on the right-hand side—there’s a hidden button behind it.
- Press the button to open a secret panel in the wall.
- Enter the hidden chamber and claim your prize!
Inside, you’ll find an ominous shrine (purely for ambiance) and the real treasure: a chest containing The Gloves of the Strangler.
